Ignorance

A sudden implementation of a plan is often ruined by factors people forget to consider. Biglang gustong kumain ng dessert after lunch, kaso wala nang budget. Biglang gustong tumakbo bilang batch representative in college, kaso walang machine to promote. Biglang gustong magpahinga after a long day, kaso may pendings pa sa work for next week. Mahirap biglain ang mga bagay-bagay, maliit man o malaki, may pipigil diyan.

So, when Cyra decided this trip would be the perfect time to open up the status of their union with her husband, she forgot the idea that he might get preoccupied with their friends. Hindi niya rin naisip na siya rin, hihilahin nang hihilahin ni Gwyneth.

"Swimming tayo sa pool mamaya, Cy! Sige na!" Gwyneth told Cyra while they were eating dinner. "Masarap tubig, malamig!"

Napangiti na lang si Cyra at nagpatuloy sa pagnguya ng pagkain. Hindi niya na kayang magsalita ulit agad matapos ng ginawa ni Delphine. In the moments Cyra felt helpless, her eyes searched for Adiel's. But he wasn't ever looking at her. He was busy with the friends around him and the waters or food. "Cy," Alyssa suddenly called her while she was walking on the shores.

"Hindi ka nakatutulog kapag wala siya?"
