Chapter Eight

We all gasped and the mothers let of their steam yelling all kinds of cussing words at her.

"What! You can't do this! We auditioned! We deserve to be on this team!" Brooke yelled. I was shocked and so was the rest of the room, they all thought she didn't want to dance but I knew better. "Come on Abby, how can you find better kids then us?" She asked.

"Well, I have auditioned many people and some of them are already enrolled at the Abby lee dance company. I also don't want Lazy kids on the team!" She yelled.

"I'd hardly say they are lazy, they work their buts off every week for your approval or to win the competition and the majority of the time they do!" Christi protested.

"Well, I found better dancers, they can still dance at the Abby lee dance company." She paused. "Oh I forgot the only person out of this team to still be on the junior elite team is..."

"Wait let me guess.... Maddie?" Christi asked sarcastically.

"Actually... NO." Abby said. I was surprised it wasn't her, she is Abby;s favourite after all but it's not. It has to be Brooke, she's the best at Acro, or Nia she can do Meaningful dances.

"Well who is it?" Melissa asked. I looked over to her and by the look on her face she wasn't very happy.

"Chloe." Abby said and smiled in my direction. My jaw dropped.

"What?" I breathed. I couldn't believe it she was always on my back to be like Maddie and now I'm pregnant and she still wants me to dance on the competition team.

"Yeah, Chloe had more potential she was always compared to Maddie and that made her stronger, Maddie didn't get better and started to slip. She may gave been in a music video with a pop star but she doesn't have the potential like I though she did. Now I would have used any of these girls for their talents but don't worry. Every few dances I will need someone with a different strength and the one of you with the strength will dance with the new team." She said and looked at all the sad and angry faces. "But if in the next three weeks they don't win, I will have yo
u guys back or if I miss you, I will ask you to come back. But you don't have to if you don't want to. You can till travel to competitions with us and be apart of the competition team, maybe enter a solo or something." Abby explained. They all nodded. They didn't look very happy.

This week would be their last week to compete as a team.I didn't want to dance with a new team because these girls standing with me now are my team.

"The new team will be arriving this afternoon and will be travelling to see what competitions are like with the Abby Lee dance company. The one of your age will be following you. Now Chloe you are on the team but their will be a girl around your age to help you compete and work harder to beat her and I expect you to beat her at least once before.. You know..." She said directed at me looking to my stomach and back to my face. I nodded.
