Chapter Twelve

The next few hours, I had to go through needle after needle to check on my baby. They need to know if the baby will be okay now it's alone in my womb.

I haven't seen my Mom or any one other than Josh since I've been here. I don't know why, I had suspicions that they were up to something. My Mom and I haven't been as close as we'd been before the pregnancy. We were very close, I told her everything. She knew I wasn't a virgin because the day after, I told her I had done it and with Josh. She wasn't happy because I was under age. She put me on birth control.

It was just too late.

"Miss Lukasiak, there is a Josh Hyland here to see you, is he allowed in?" The Doctor asked. I smiled. He was back and I was happy I would no longer be alone in this dreadful place.

"Yeah," I answered with a yawn. I was so tired and I couldn't rest because of all the blood tests being taken and i feel uncomfortable sleeping in this bed.

The doctor walked out and called him in. I was nervous about seeing him again yet happy. He was the only one who actually visited me and and he loves me, that makes me nervous. Normally,I wouldn't get like this, butterflies filling my stomach, Sweat trickling down my face everything.

"Hey Chloe, You ready to come home?" He asked. I nodded, I was I couldn't stay here any longer, I just wanted to get into my own bed and see my little sister and start dancing again.

"Okay, I'll just get the nurse." I nodded. My voice felt as if it was crack if I said a word to him because I feel guilty about not actually loving him but only loving that he's the father of my baby.

As he left the room, I slowly sat my self up bearing the pain in my stomach. It was probably the worse pain other than the numbness I feel now with only one baby instead of two.

"Miss Lukasiak, You have a few rules you have to abide by. You are not allowed to dance in case you miscarry the other baby which could put both you and the baby deep danger. And from now on, I want you to come in every 2 weeks instead of four for a close check up.

No more dancing, you need to rest and not stress.

Now that this happened, You are needed to have someone accompanying you all the time." I stayed silent. I wasn't allowed to dance. I wasn't allowed to do anything. This is going to be a long 5 months.

"Is it possible for me to just compete this weekend as my last one before I have my baby, because I am needed this week to help the team win and we are travelling tomorrow, there no way someone else can learn my parts in a few hours." I tried to persuade her to let me compete this weekend so I can win with the girls and then hopefully tell them about my pregnancy.

"Sure but Please take it easy and you are only allowed to dance for at least 10 minutes at a time, okay?" She asked.

"Okay." I said. She nodded.

"You're free to go." She said and Josh helped me to my feet before grabbing my bag and pulling me towards the front door of the hospital and we started our Journey to home.
