Chapter Thirteen

"Uhh Josh? We were supposed to turn back there." I informed him getting very confused. He knew where I lived, He had come to visit us many of times with Paige and when him and Maddie were dating.

"I know but your Mom is with Clara at the dance studio and I have to go home and make the girls dinner before they get home so I cant supervise you, remember what the doctor said. You have to be supervised at all times." He explained. I nodded and began to take in the scenery around me. The trees swaying in the soft wind. The bees on the flowers the flowers ready to bloom. It was beautiful.

"We're here." He said softly and helped me out the car since I hadn't used my legs in a while and still getting used to walking on them again.

"Thanks." I said softly as he began to lead me to the studio and into the dancers den.

"Are you sure you're going to be able to dance again, because you're still finding it hard to walk." He is so sweet, always worried about my well being.

"Yeah, I'll be fine, I've got Paige and the others if anything goes wrong." He nodded and left so I got changed into a leotard and got ready to dance. I could hear the music already.

I took a deep breath and walked into the studio as the music stopped. I smiled as everyone turned to look at me all screaming running to hug me. Paige and Brooke stayed further behind and hugged me individually when the others had released me.

"Hi Guys, I have something to tell you all." I said and waved up to the window above the mirrors in the studio indicating for all the mothers to join us in the room.

When they all walked in, I took a deep breath. "Well, as you know, I was in the hospital and I have been out under strict rules that I'm not allowed to dance for a whole year but I can still help you guys out. This week she made an exception and told me I was only allowed to dance for a total of 10 minutes, so I was thinking, that maybe I could give my solo away to somebody of my choice." I said looking at Abby. She nodded and motioned for me to carry on.

"Okay, I'd like to give it to Nia because she doesn't have as many opportunities as the rest of us to perform a dance and if anyone can pull of a dance in a few hours, it's her." I explained my choice. I loved Nia she was like my little sister and I know what it feels like to be up against Abby so thought she could have my solo this week.

She hugged me tightly after smiling at me mouthing a 'thankyou,'I smiled back because Nia is always a happy person even with Abby's wrath but I've not seen her this happy in a long time.

"So let's get stated." I smiled before going to the corner ready for the group dance. I had a plan that later, I'd take Nia into an Empty room and teach her the choreography and change it up a little but not let Abby see it until she competes it because I want to show Abby that f you are nice to your students, they can do just as well but for now, I just wanted to run through this dance and our trio before teaching Nia the dance and I knew that Nia wanted the same.

The Moms walked out talking amongst themselves and Abby sat on the acrobatic mats at the back by the ballet bars and the other girls got into their positions for this dance. I was featured in this so I was happy with not having a solo. I think that being pregnant had made me soft.
