Chapter eighteen

After a long day filming the show and my secret being revealed to yet another person. All I wanted to do was lay on my bed and fall asleep. Unfortunately, I have to go to the sleepover tradition that was at the Hylands tonight.

I quickly packed my things into my branded suitcase. I packed my ALDC jacket and bottoms along with my make-up all my essential shoes and some clothes for the celebration after the competition. Abby had all the costumes so I didn't have to worry about that. This week I was taking my laptop because I had some things to sort out about this baby.

I was also taking my laptop because when I sit down, my bump is even more visible which is why when I'm in the studio I try to stay stood up for as long as I can without someone pointing it out. Tonight and Kelly's house, I was wearing sweats and a baggy shirt of Josh's from the night we had sex. This way my bump was hardly noticeable.

My Mom was picking Clara up from her friends house before she dropped me off for the sleepover. I was excited and not for this weekend. I was excited because I am confident these dances are going to win but I'm also nervous because I have to tell the other girls about my baby. I don't want them treating me any differently, I know that Paige and Brooke are watching me ore closely when I'm dancing since they found out. Now they know they won't let me dance when I'm tired and precaution of falling.

We left the house, I gave me dad a kiss on the cheek hoping from some sort of reaction out of him. He has been this way ever since I told him I was pregnant. It wasn't exactly the way I wanted to tell him. He didn't know until about three days ago. Mom had brought some things for the baby and he over heard everything. We got into an argument and he has been this way ever since. I sighed and whispered. 'I love you.' in his ear before following my Mom out the door.

On the way to Clara's friend Macie's I looked out the window and dropped into a day dream, I'm not ready to tell everyone, I'm not ready to have this baby, I'm not ready to become a mother, I'm not ready for anything. I'm only thirteen.

"Chloe?" I snapped out of my train of thoughts. I turned and looked at my Mom.

" Look, I know that you want your dad's approval but you don't need it. You have me Brooke Paige Kelly and once the other girls know, you'll have them as well. If he doesn't speak to you soon and stop looking at you like you're a disappointment. I'm going to divorce him and we'll live with Kelly until we find another place." She explained.

This made me even more upset, why would she do that? She's happy with my dad and I didn't want to be the one breaking them u after so many years. I don't want to be the cause for my Moms happiness.

"Thanks Mom but you have to think about your happiness and Clara's, I'm fine with dad not talking to me. I'll probably go live with Kelly alone if thats alright." I said as she pulled into Maddie's driveway.

"Okay Sweetie have fun." She said, I got out the car and walked up the path and walked straight in without knocking. I hard laughter coming from the living room.

"Hey Chloe!" The girls said in unison. All the Moms were in their drinking and talking while all the girls were messing around on the sofa. My Mom wasn't coming in like she normally does, she had something to do and I though that she was going to talk to my dad.

"Hi." I said softly before throwing my back with the others in the corner behind the sofa and walked over the Moms. I wanted to talk to Kelly about my living with her. I want to know whether I'm okay to live with her just because my dad is pretty much disowning me and my Moms happiness is something I want her to keep. She lost all her happiness of me and my sister dancing because of Abby. I don't want her to miss anything else.

"Kelly?" I whispered. I was scared to ask her, I was scared to know what she would say because her house is big but not enough rooms.

She stopped talking to Melissa and looked at me putting her drink down.

"what's up Chlo?" She asked. Upon seeing my pale scared face. "Are you okay?" I nodded.

"Can I speak to you?" I looked at all the other Moms. "Alone."

She guided me into the kitchen. "What's up?" She asked. I bit my lip.

"Is it okay if I come and stay with you until.." I looked down at my stomach."This is all over?" I continued.

"Yeah that's okay. You can share with Paige."

"Thank you." I whispered.

"It's no Problem, can you send Brooke and Paige out here and I'll tell them. Now go and enjoy this sleepover and get ready for your last competition for a while." She smiled. I nodded and walked back into the living room.

I squashed in between Brooke and Paige; they laughed and made room for me. "Your Mom wants to see you in the Kitchen." I said to them.

They stood up and I relaxed into the soft couch cushions. I smiled and sighed feeling the pain in my back relieve itself. Paige came bouncing back in minutes later followed by a smiling Brooke,the other girls didn't even seem to acknowledge I was in the same room as them.

"I can't wait for you to come live with me." Paige squealed into my ear as she pulled me into a tight bear hug.

"Me either." I managed to get out. Once she finally let go of me,the other four girls left the room. Brooke wasn't normally at these sleepovers, she normally had one alone night with her Boyfriend before she went to a competition. I just know that she used protection every time she had sex or made love.

Paige and I followed the girls up the stairs. They split and Maddie Paige and Brooke went into Brooke's room and Mackenzie Nia and I went into Paige's room. "Meet up again in a few minutes?" Paige asked. I nodded and headed down the hall to Paige's room as Paige went across the hall into Brooke's Room.

"What are we doing tonight, the usual?" I asked Mackenzie and Nia who were already changing. I grabbed my stuff that Kelly must have brought up earlier and put our stuff into the usual room we change in. It was weird that Paige doesn't stay in her own room on sleepovers she's always in Brooke's with Maddie.

"Of course. Truth or dare Pizza and personal stories."Mackenzie answered. I turned around as Nia and Mackenzie were waiting for me. " Chloe?" Mackenzie asked. I turned back around now changed.

"Yeah?" I asked.

"Are you okay?"

"I'm okay why do you ask?" I was confused she was little and picked up on many things but I don't want anyone knowing any of this.

"Because you're always so distant from us, you don't have fun any more or hangout after dance or school. You are hiding something and it's killing you I can see it." Mackenzie explained. I was completely in shock. She really was intelligent and noticed all the little things around her. I looked at Nia. She gave me a sympathetic look.

"I'm fine Kenzie, you don't have to worry about me. Just worry about yourself and beating Maddie at this weeks competition." I said with a tickle to her stomach. She giggled nodded and ran out.

I sighed deeply before throwing myself onto her bed. "You have to tell them." Nia said. I nodded.

"I know tomorrow after the competition." I said before getting up and walking out the now open door.
