Chapter Twenty Five

All the dancers of the day huddled up onto the stage where they sat waiting for the announcement of the winners of each category. I knew that thee was not a chance that the select team was winning the group because I messed up loads on the dance. I just couldn't be bothered.

We sat on the edge of the stage near the judges table. I struggled to sit down but managed as Josh pulled me onto his lap. I couldn't wait for today to be over, because then I've told them about my pregnancy, I'm able to be free of lies. Then tomorrow, me an the girls are going shopping. If. If tonight turns out better than I hope.

"Okay, Good afternoon everyone, now before we begin, I'd like us all to give a nice cheer for all the dancers who competed here today." The lady said into the microphone and a few seconds later the auditorium was full of cheers and whistles.

"Well then, lets get on with the awards." She said. A buff man handed her the first trophy. The category we preformed in was the end categories the rest of awards went really slow and passed like a blur.

Place goes to, from the Abby Lee dance company..." I looked and Nia and Maddie and I knew that Maddie had obviously beat Nia so Nia was the third place. "Maddie Ziegler."The whole company gasped as we heard the name. I looked at Nia, She smiled and me and I winked.

"Oh My God, she got third." I whispered to Josh. He smiled.

"Well, maybe Nia won like she wanted to do for you." He whispered I smile.

"Now In first place, also from the Abby Lee dance Company. Nia Frazier!" The woman exclaimed. The whole team from daughters to mothers were on their feet cheering for Nia. She ran over to me and hugged me. I giggled.

"Well done Niabear. I knew you could do it." I squealed.

"Thanks. Come with me." She said. She pulled me with her to the judges and she excepted her trophy and plaque.

Nia Maddie and I went to sit back down with the team and waited for the next round of awards.

"Next is the Junior and senior trios." She said. I grabbed Brooke and Paige's hand as we waited the results.

place from the Abby Lee dance company cirque de freak!" She said. That was Maddie Mackenzie and Nia. I stood up cheering for our team mates. "And in first place also from the Abby Lee dance Company Brooke and Paige Hyland and Chloe Lukasiak!" She exclaimed. Paige and Brooke cheered as they stood up pulling me with them and into a hug as everyone clapped. We accepted our awards and I took my seat on Josh's lap.

The duets were next, it was only me and Josh from the company and I really wanted to win for this dance because it meant a ot to me just like our trio did because it was to do with our baby and our futures ahead.

"Okay, many couples stood out in this category. There was good technique and good chemistry between all the couples. However, one act stood out above all the other dancers today. They had a connection. A story behind the choice in dance. You could see that through the way they danced. So first place goes to...' She paused for effect. "Chloe and Josh from the Abby Lee dance company!"

Josh and I jumped up as he spun me around before kissing me on the lips quickly before we accepted the award and sitting back down.

Now the last results of the day was the groups and I was not looking forward to it because I know that I will be in shit with Abby for messing up but I also know that we didn't have a chance against the original team because they were amazing and have been dancing together for years. I have been brought into a group where none of these dancers have danced together before so they don't know how the other works. Like with Maddie I know that she will always do one more turn in our duets, therefore, I do one more turn in our duets, Brooke does flips and tricks that are unpredictable, so I make sure to be away from her while she's in the air and Paige I know that her facial expressions are over the top so I make my expressions as big as I can. We work well together and now I have been pulled out of that group.

"Okay, Junior group awards. In second place goes to The select competition team from the Abby Lee dance Company." She said and I could see all their Moms clapping overjoyed that they got second. However, second is not where they are aiming if they want to stay on the junior elite competition team. "Okay and In first Place... From the Abby Lee dance Company The Junior elite competition team!" She said as they jumped up hugging one another and I got a little jealous from them celebrating when I'm normally apart of the winning group celebrating with them. I watched as they collected their trophy and saw Paige take the microphone off of the judge.

"Hi my name is Paige Hyland and I'm part of the Abby Lee dance company. Now recently one of our very own dancers has been upset and not her bubbly self. This young woman means a lot to me and I know that wherever she goes, I go to. So Chloe, this trophy is for you. Forever and always." She smiled as I stood up and they all crowded around me to hug me. Paige gave the microphone back before we all jumped off the front of the stage and out the auditorium doors back into the changing room seconds before our Moms and Abby. Josh was allowed in now since no one was changing and I was about to give them my big news. I was shitting myself. I didn't know how they are going to react. I hope they are nice and take it well. I think the majority will but Maddie, she has always had a crush on Josh and I know that if she knows that he's the father she's going to resent me because when I told her nothing was ever going to happen between us she could have him and ask him to be her boyfriend but now we're together and this baby is his.Especially after the coach ride her, I haven't spoken to her since our big argument. I mean she called me a slut for crying out loud! But then again, She's right, I am a slut. I just don't know how it's going to play out. Hopefully they can celebrate their winning and the addition to the dancer family.

One can only hope....
