Chapter Twenty Eight

The next morning, I got up before the crack of dawn to sneak back into my own bed. Josh was still asleep so he wouldn't have noticed I had been there at all. I kissed him softly on his slightly parted lips.

I snuck past my Moms room and into mine quietly not to wake anyone. I made my bed look messy to make it look like I've slept in the bed all night. I looked at my phone that I had left in there charging all night. I had a text from Kasey.

'Hey Chloe, I know you're at a competition and everything but when you get back I need to talk to you in person it's really important.' Was what it said. This got me really worried so I phoned her leaning back against my head board.

"Hello?" The voice said.

"Hey Kase What was that message about?" I asked.

"Oh Um... I don;t want to tell you over the phone."

"Can you just tell me a little so I'm not worried for the next couple days?

"Okay, it's about Adam, He told me something."

"Something as in?"

"Something that upset me."

"Well are you okay?"

"Yeah I'm fine, I'll tell you the rest when you get back."

"Okay, I love you."

"I love you too." With that, I hung up before waking the other girls up which was hard because they all like their sleep. But eventually I got them up. While they were waking up and falling out of bed, I got ready for the day. I took a quick shower massaging soap onto my growing stomach. I got changed into a maternity dress that was Purple with white straps. I then dried my hair and curled it slightly to make it a little wavy before adding my everyday make up.

When I left the bathroom I saw most of the girls dressed already since they all had showers last night. I giggled, Paige and Brooke were still laid in bed. The Hylands love their Sleep, Josh and Kelly are the same.

"What are we doing today?"I asked

"We could go shopping. I want to buy some things for the baby." Broke said shooting up.

"Well, you better get dressed. We're leaving in five minutes." I laughed. Her and Paige rushed around getting ready and surprisingly, they were done in five minutes.

"let's go." I squealed. We all walked out the door to meet the others before telling our Mom's we're heading out and we left for a busy day of shopping. Josh was stuck with the Moms for the day which I wasn't happy about because I wanted him to carry my bags but the girls said it was a girls day out and he would ruin it. Brooke also said she would carry my bags for me.

We got to the mall and it was huge. It was bigger than the one in Pittsburgh. I was in Heaven. "Okay girls, so where to first?" I asked. They all came out with different shops they wanted to go to. "Why don't we split up and meet for lunch at the foot court in say two hours?" I suggested. They all agreed and we separated.

Maddie and Brooke went off together. Brooke said that she didn't want me to see what she is about to buy for my baby. Paige and Nia went off together to talk about some things that have been happening this week. That left me and Mackenzie. We went to her favourite store to justice. Me and her were trying on all the things in the store and modelling each outfit.

Over the next few hours Mackenzie and I brought make up clothes and shoes for our self. I spend $123.00 and now, I had to go buy my baby some clothes. I was picking up some clothes and toys for this baby whilst rubbing my stomach. Mackenzie was also buying the baby some things.

I reached into my handbag and felt around to find a box that I had in my bag for a while waiting to take it into the shop and now is my chance. It was my Moms engagement ring that she gave me to be engraved for my baby to keep in remembrance of her grandmother.

"Hi can I have this engraved around the band please?" I asked nicely to the cashier.

"Of Course, what would you like for it to say?" She asked.

"um.... Forever and always." I replied. She smiled and went to do her job. Mackenzie and I stood around talking for a few minutes until the cashier came back with the ring.

"Here you go." She smiled. "Oh. Congratulations." She said. I thanked her and we both walked out into the food court.
