Part 31 - You do so Much Good Red

Chloe pov:

We were all in the limo, which was the car Mal, Evie, and Uma drove. I was sitting at the very back with Red laying next to me, her head on my lap, and a blanket over her. I gently grabbed the hair that was draping over her face and put it behind her ear so her face wouldn't be covered anymore.

Mal: Well, that was quite the intense show.

Uma: No kidding. She had a lot of pent-up anger in her.

Chloe: I've never seen her so angry before.

I say, still looking at the sleeping girl.

Chloe: But I'm happy she was able to let it all out. She really tuckered herself out. She's needs to rest now.

Evie: I got a few questions for you, Chloe.

I looked up to face Evie.

Evie: How come you went in the room?

Chloe: she needed someone. She's been alone her whole life until now.

I look at the women in the car.

Chloe: No one deserves what she's been through..... she hasn't really talked or been around anyone other than me. I remember her saying something in that room that caught my attention. She said so etching like, "She didn't give me the 1 thing I truly needed. "...... I think she was talking about love. It breaks my heart to know she doesn't know how it feels. Everyone needs love in their hearts.

Evie: I guess you can ask her when she wakes up. How have your plans been working out for you.

Chloe: Good, making progress for sure. I can definitely see her growth and happy side.

I tried to keep it vague so red wouldn't know what I was talking about.

Evie: You seem to be much more confident.

Chloe: Wait, how?

Mal: You've been playing with Red's hair since we got in the car.

I then look down, noticing my thumb rubbing the side of her scalp. I then took my hand off her head. I heard a little groan.

Red: No, don't stop....

My eyes got wide.

Chloe: You've been awake this whole time.

Red: I sorta woke up like 4 minutes ago.

Red then sits up still with the blanket in her.

Chloe: So you heard everything we said?

Red: Not everything, no.

We then arrived at the school and got out.

Red: Now, come one Chloe, we got lots to talk about.

She said as she grabbed my wrist. I looked at Evie, a little scared. She mouths good luck as Red sees everything before dragging me along to our dorm as the others waved. Once at the dorm, she made me sit on her bed, and she sat beside me.

Chloe: So..... you wanted to talk?

I say nervously.

Red: Yes, I know what happened today and want to make sure of a few things. First things first, I want to talk about what happened while I was in that room.

Chloe: Sure.... what did you want to talk about.

Red: Well, I first want to know your thoughts on what you saw..... You probably see more like a monster now.

Chloe: No.... I don't. As much as it was a little scary seeing you like that, I knew it was exactly what you needed. You let out all your bottled up emotions you had kept in you for years. That's good, I'm proud of you for being able to do that.
