Part 33 - A Bully's Plan

Chloe pov:

We are back in our dorms, and I decided to shower first. My gosh, today has been quite the day. Showers are the best to decompress. After 30 minutes, I got out, and then Red also showered. I got so many questions to ask her, but I waited til she was out.

Chloe: Can we talk?

So Red came and sat beside me.

Chloe: Before we go to bed, I have a few questions....

Red: And those being?

Chloe: Well, I want to know what you thought about the kiss. Did you like it?

Red: Yeah..... it was nice and different.

Chloe: ok, that good..... um, but why did you ask me for a kiss? Usually, people do that when they are a little more into the relationship.

Red: I don't know how love works. That's just what you said they do, so I just went with that.

Chloe: Hmm, ok..... one last question, I promise.

Red waits for me to ask.

Chloe: So like do you want to actually learn about love or just want to know how it feels.

Red takes a second to think.

Red: I do know that I now want to take advantage of doing what I want until my mom wakes up. If love is the power, I need to maybe one day defeat my mother. I might as well give it a chance.... even if I'm a little scared.

Chloe: we can just take small steps.... but we should probably sleep. I'm very tired from today.

We then head to bed and sleep. The next morning, we ate breakfast like normal, but I left something in my locker.

Chloe: I'll meet you in class. I just need to grab something from Mt locker real quick.

So I headed to my locker and grabbed my books, but when I closed my locker, a familiar senior student knocked the books right out my hands and fell on the ground I looked up but they had already pushed me against the locker making me fall. I got up, angry.

Chloe: What your problem.

I yelled at them, but they didn't reply. Whatever, I just need to get to class anyway. Class went well, and we didn't have too much homework due to it being the weekend. But when I went to go wash my hands before lunch, the seniors were back. I tried to ignore them and past them, but they put their foot, and I tripped and fell. I got up.

Chloe: the code of conduct prohib-

The guy then slaps me right in the face.

Senior: Listen here, you little girl. Because of you, we were in detention the whole week. But we did some digging. Try to get us in trouble again, and we'll tell the whole school what happened to you in the 7 grade.

Chloe: And what do you know?

He then steps forward and whispers in my ear. I scoffed at what they had claimed to have found as my secret.

Chloe: Yeah, I don't really care about that.

The bullygets mad then pushed me away as he stared at me. I then made my way to eat lunch. I grab my food and sit.

Red: Are you ok? Your face is a little red.

Chloe: Oh, I'm ok, just tripped and fell.

I said nervously. Red shrugs it. She doesn't need to worry about me. I can handle a few bullies myself. Since it was Friday, we didn't have any after-school activities. So after school was out, I asked Red if she wanted to go in a walk around campus with me. She agreed, and we went in a walk.
