MedicMayhem: Are you texting under the table at dinner again?
Silver_Artist_Cat: I'm texting you, I don't see you complaining.
Silver_Artist_Cat: plus no-one's noticed yet, it's okay
Silver_Artist_Cat: they're all too absorbed in Kwazii's newest fascinating pirate story
MedicMayhem: let me guess, you've heard them all before?
Silver_Artist_Cat: I should do, I invented half of them!
MedicMayhem: this doesn't really surprise me.
Silver_Artist_Cat: you seem sad
MedicMayhem: just tired :)
Silver_Artist_Cat: I'm missing you <3
MedicMayhem: aww I'm missing you too
Silver_Artist_Cat: busy day?
MedicMayhem: yeah
MedicMayhem: lots of new patients in today, after a pretty bad storm
MedicMayhem: the sick bay's completely full to bursting
MedicMayhem: plus I've still got some of my old patients in, who aren't well enough to go home yet
Silver_Artist_Cat: that's sad :(
MedicMayhem: normally it's a pretty happy atmosphere, but today everyone seems so sad
MedicMayhem: I think the patients I have at the moment are homesick
Silver_Artist_Cat: Well I can understand that
Silver_Artist_Cat; I'd be homesick if I wasn't in the ocean, where I know and feel comfortable
Silver_Artist_Cat: it's probably just the sick bay affecting them
MedicMayhem: But my Sick Bay is supposed to be comforting and welcoming, not make people sad
Silver_Artist_Cat: it's not your fault, Peso ;)
Silver_Artist_Cat: it's natural for creatures to feel a little homesick
MedicMayhem: okay Kate, thanks
MedicMayhem: I had better go and try to make all the new patients as comfortable as I can
