JumpingJellyfish: but it's kind of ironic, isn't it - the Octonauts at an aquarium?
SaySeaweed: haha I guess so
SaySeaweed: I never know whether I like the idea of them or not
SaySeaweed: half of me reasons that they are kept safe here, and endangered species can breed to stop them being endangered, and there's no sharks after them or oil spills to contend with, so... a good thing
SaySeaweed: but half of me is still like - they're kept trapped here and they can't feel the ocean and be free
JumpingJellyfish: like we are, you mean?
SaySeaweed: yeah, I guess so :)
SaySeaweed: AHH there's a gift shop over there! AHH there's tiny cute fish plushies in there
JumpingJellyfish: stay strong, Dashi!
JumpingJellyfish: we've queued up for long enough
JumpingJellyfish: I'll get you a cuddly toy starfish after, promise :D

SaySeaweed: ooh look we're finally going in!
JumpingJellyfish: yay! We get to see some species of sea creatures :)
SaySeaweed: awwwwww look at this place it's so adorable :)
JumpingJellyfish: I know, i love how it's all painted with waves and blue sea and coral reefs
JumpingJellyfish: i mean, we see the real thing of this painting nearly every day
SaySeaweed: shhh no-one knows that here - they'll ask us for tours of the ocean or possibly our autograph :P
SaySeaweed: haha or maybe not :P
JumpingJellyfish: where to first, then?
SaySeaweed: ooh, I think the big fish tanks over there, all the fish are so colourful and they're calling to me :)
JumpingJellyfish: righty'o :D
JumpingJellyfish: wow, a whole shoal of tuna!
JumpingJellyfish: and a zebrafish!
JumpingJellyfish: and there's some goldfish hiding behind that seaweed over there!
SaySeaweed: aka the one fish species that is every young dachshund's dream pet when you're growing up
JumpingJellyfish: i'm guessing you had a goldfish, Dashi? how did i not know of this before?
SaySeaweed: I had one for about three months - I shared her with my little sister
SaySeaweed: she was called Gillian :D
JumpingJellyfish: Gillian the Goldfish, why not? ;)
SaySeaweed: then one day I took her travel tank on a trip to the beach and we let her go in a rock pool to find her little goldfish friends in the ocean :)
