69) We Are Family

A/N) Where the crew contemplate their status as pretty much a big family, and try and figure out what part they play in that eclectic mix.

Online: CallMeCaptain, All4Fun, Safe&Secure, SweetAsSugar, I'mOnIt, DynamicDiscoveries, InkCloud

SweetAsSugar: hey, sis, have you seen my hair straighteners?

I'mOnIt: no, sorry Dashi (I'm not secretly using them to power up a new invention)

SweetAsSugar: you better not be!

I'mOnIt: I said I wasn't! (though I could be lying)

All4Fun: hey, you two, you know you're not actually sisters, right

SweetAsSugar: hey, Tweak and I are basically sisters

SweetAsSugar: the whole crew are practically a family anyway

SweetAsSugar: we've been living together on the same ship for eight years, helping each other and spending all our time together as a crew

SweetAsSugar: pretty much like a family

CallMeCaptain: yeah, I guess we are like a big family

CallMeCaptain: we certainly squabble enough

I'mOnIt: we never squabble!

I'mOnIt: well - Dashi never squabbles, anyway - she's too nice to argue with anyone

I'mOnIt: she just agrees with everyone, with is nice but not terribly useful when intervening in an argument

SweetAsSugar: I don't argue with people, I just ask them very nicely to give me back my hair straighteners please as I know you have them Tweak sister of mine :/

I'mOnIt: You have no proof!

SweetAsSugar: hmm :)

Safe&Secure: The Captain's like the father figure in the crew/family

All4Fun: ooh, but who's da mummy? ;D

SweetAsSugar: good question

I'mOnIt: well, Dashi's the most motherly one here, and she goes around looking after everyone else anyway, so I'd vote Dashi

SweetAsSugar: True, true

CallMeCaptain: so i'm the father figure and Dashi's the mother

CallMeCaptain: The professor's obviously the granddad figure

All4Fun: or the crazy uncle in the attic?

InkCloud: I am here, you know?

All4Fun: hey, professor, didn't - um - see you there!

InkCloud: Indeed. I'll settle for the granddad figure, thank you very much.

SweetAsSugar: Tweak, I can see you as the sassy, intelligent college girl, around seventeen years old in our magic family

I'mOnIt: hehe thanks Dashi

I'mOnIt: I guess i am pretty sassy...

I'mOnIt: though you know compliments won't make me give back your hair straighteners, right?

SweetAsSugar: so you do have them!

I'mOnIt: sassy and intelligent college girl, remember? I'm not admitting anything

I'mOnIt: anyway ... kwazii's the young annoying one, probably around nine years old, who goes around pranking people and getting away with it because he's cute

All4Fun: why am I the annoying nine year old?

I'mOnIt: I don't know, it sums you up pretty well, doesn't it?

All4Fun: oy

All4Fun: also - I'm cute. tweak?

I'mOnIt: ... NOT IN THAT WAY :/

DynamicDiscoveries: what am I in this crazy family of ours?

SweetAsSugar: you're definitely the geeky pre-teen, around twelve or thirteen, who plays with his chemistry set and watches the stars at night

DynamicDiscoveries: uh huh, sounds like me all right :D

SweetAsSugar: and Peso's the baby of the family, who we all dote on, of course

Safe&Secure: haha should have seen that coming I guess

Safe&Secure: I am actually an older brother in my own family, you know

SweetAsSugar: yeah, well here you're our youngest member

DynamicDiscoveries: apart from the Vegimals of course

I'mOnIt: yeah, they're like our many younger - cousins?

All4Fun: I guess you could call the Vegimals cousins?

CallMeCaptain: well, we may be a pretty eclectic family, all things considered, but I wouldn't wish for anyone else to spend my life with

SweetAsSugar: we are the best family anyone could wish for

SweetAsSugar: though Tweak really needs to give her mother figure her straighteners right now ;/

I'mOnIt: You're not really my mom!

CallMeCaptain: haha bickering like all families :)
