In Kim household

Everyone is present in the living room. A deafening silence following them. Mr and Mrs Kim are sitting on a couch with their heads lowered while an angry Taehyung is pacing in the living room, giving them chills from his silence. Yeonjun is just sitting on the single sofa looking at everything with sheer amusement.

Taehyung: unbelievable.
A low whisper was heard from Taehyung. His voice sounding strained with anger.

Taehyung: What, huh, what were you thinking, Appa?
Taehyung suddenly turned towards his parents with red angered eyes and asked with his clenched jaw.

Mr Kim: Tae, son, first sit, then we'll talk."
Mr Kim said in a soft tone while gesturing Taehyung to sit beside him.
But Taehyung just shook his head angrily.

Taehyung: No, I'm not here to sit. Just tell me why you did that, huh? Why did you give such an absurd solution, huh? Why, why me appa?
Taehyung asked while heaving in anger, his eyes brimming in angry tears, but he held them in. His frustration getting the best of him.

Mr Kim: Son, the situation was like this. I said the first thing that came to my mind. He's my friend, and his reputation was at stake. I just did it to save his reputation. I just did what a friend should do.
Mr. Kim said, trying to make his angry son understand the gravity of the situation.

Taehyung chuckled bitterly at his father's words.

Taehyung: Wow, dad, wow, what a great friend you're. Your friend's reputation was stake, so you think that sacrificing your son is better than there bad reputation, huh. Wow, impressive.
Taehyung said in a mocking tone and nodded his head at the end of the sentence with a sarcastic smile on his lips.

Mr. Kim just looked down with slumped shoulders. He thought that what he was doing at that time was right, but after looking at his son's reaction, it seemed totally opposite.

Taehyung: I'll never forgive you for this appa never.
Saying this, Taehyung went from there, leaving his parents in regret.

Mrs Kim: I think we made a big mistake.
Mrs Kim uttered in a saddened tone while looking at where Taehyung was standing before. Mr Kim nodded his head in positive while still looking down and mumbled in a low voice,

"We definitely did."

In jeon household

Mr Jeon: Why are you angry at us, huh? We did as you wanted. It was your so-called lover who ruined everything. Who fucked someone else and got pregnant.

Jungkook: Dad, watch your words....

Mr Jeon: You watch your words, young man. Be thankful that Taehyung agreed to get engaged with you and saved your reputation. Otherwise, it would have been all over the media that how your going to be fiance was caught cheating and pregnant with someone else's child.

Mr Jeon was seething in anger by now. Instead of being thankful that his reputation is saved from being tarnish, here he's fighting with his dad. He should confront his lover for betraying him, but no, here he's busy fighting with his father.

Mrs Jeon is sitting on the sofa while looking at her husband and son with concerned eyes but saying nothing as she doesn't want to stretch the matter more by intervening herself, too. Soobin long ago went into his room, so it's just the three of them in the living room now.

Jungkook: You didn't do me well, dad, and I won't forgive you for that.
Jungkook said in a sad voice and then went from there without any other word. Mr Jeon huffed at his son's words and looked sideways in anger. He thinks that what he did is right, and no one can change his mind from that.

Mrs Jeon: You should have at least asked for his opinion before making such a big decision. He's right it's his life. He has all the rights to decide, for himself.

Mr Jeon: it was his decision only, jeeah. We gave him all the rights and went to that girls house to ask for her hand and arranged the event for him. It was his girlfriend only because of whom I had to take that decision, then why everyone is everyone blaming me. I took that decision for his good only.

Mr Jeon stated in quite an angry tone. Mrs Jeon sighed at her husband's words.

Mrs Jeon: But still you should have asked for his approval first before taking that decision.
Mrs Jeon mumbled in a slow voice. Mr Jeon sighed loudly at her words, shook his head.

"No one's understanding me, I don't know why I'm even wasting my breath here." Mr Jeon went from the living room while mumbling under his breath, which was clearly audible to Mrs Jeon, who heard everything her husband said and shook her head with a sigh.

At midnight

Taehyung and Jungkook are now laying in their rooms in their respective houses, thinking about the same thing, that is, their unexpected engagement.

"Look where you're today engaged to the only person you despise the most."

Both of them coincidentally thought the same thing at the same time and then raised their left palms in the air, looking at the rings that tied them together in an unwanted relationship.
Both of them huffed irritatedly after looking at their rings and turned sideways. Jungkook is lying on the left side of the bed, and he turns on his right while Taehyung is lying on the right and turns towards his left.

Taehyung: I hate you, Jeon Jungkook, and this feeling won't change into any other feeling all my life.
Taehyung muttered angrily under his breath and glared at the wall in front of him.

Jungkook: Kim Taehyung, I despise you with all my heart, and I'd rather die than marry you.
Jungkook gritted out in a low voice and fisted the pillow tightly in his hands.

They both then again huffed angrily and turned to the other side. Now Jungkook is lying on his left side while Taehyung is lying on his right side. If they were lying on the same bed, then they would have been facing each other. They both were glaring at their respective walls, as if they could see each other and glaring at each other and not at the poor wall.

Both of the males' nights went by like this. Whenever they tried closing their eyes, each other's face would pop up in front of their closed eyes, making them shoot open their eyes that instant. They would rather stay awake than see each other in their dreams. That's what they thought, but eventually, the days tiredness took a toll on them, and they finally slept after struggling to stay awake so they don't have to see each other in dreams.
