A silence engulfed the whole hall. Everyone looked at where the sound came from and saw a man standing at the enternace of the hall. Euniee's breath hitched, looking at who the male was. She looked at him wide-eyed when he started coming towards the stage. Jungkook frowned his brows when he recognised the male.

"John." Jungkook whispered under his breath and looked at the male, taking long steps towards where they are standing.

"John, what are you doing here?" Jungkook asked bewildered as long as he knew he didn't invite him or anyone from his university. Pete John was their class fellow back in America.

"Oh, I'm sorry I came here uninvited, but my presence here was needed." John uttered while looking at Euniee with a serious gaze, making her gulp at the intensity of his stare. He then averted his gaze from her and looked at Jungkook, who was still looking at him with furrowed eyes.

"What do mean by that John?" Jungkook questioned. Everyone present in the hall is also looking at the male with a frown and wants to know with what purpose the male came here.

John chuckled lightly at Jungkook's question and said,

"Oh, how naive can you be, Jeon. I'm surprised people like you still exist in this era." John mumbled, making Jungkook more confused. Jungkook clenched his jaw at the other's choice of words and gritted out,

"What do you mean by people like me, huh?"

"Dumb, niave, oblivious." John said in a mocking tone.

"Boy, what are you trying to say. Say it properly. Otherwise, go from here and don't ruin my children's big day." Mr Jeon's authoritative voice boomed in a hall. John looked at him with a smirk. All while Euniee was gulping and sweating profusely by thinking about the reasons for the male's arrival.

"Are you sure Jeon that you wants to engage with a girl like her." John asked while pointing a mocking finger towards Euniee, who looked at him with wide, scared eyes and gulped while Jungkook's eyes darkened at his words.

"What do you mean by girl like her, huh? Don't you dare say anything about my fiance." Jungkook thundered and looked at John with his angry dark gaze.

"John, what are you doing here and what are you even saying. Go from here." A small and shivery voice of Euniee mumbled. Everyone's attention went towards the girl who was trembling at her place while drops of sweet can be seen on her forehead. John smirked at her scared expressions and asked,

"Why, are you scared that your secret will come out, huh? That your ugly face will be revealed in front of everyone." John mumbled mockingly and looked at her with challenging eyes, making girl more scared.

Jungkook had enough of John's confusing words he angrily grabbed his collar and shook him violently while shouting,

"WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO SAY, HUH. WHAT SECRET, WHAT UGLY FACE WHY CAN'T YOU SAY EVERYTHING STRAIGHT. WHY ARE YOU WASTING MY TIME, HUH." With each sentence, Jungkook's grip on his collar was tightening, and he was giving hard jerks to his body.

"SHE IS CHEATING ON YOU JUNGKOOK AND IS NOW PREGNANT WITH MY CHILD WHILE SHE'S GETTING ENGAGED TO YOU." John's loud voice boomed in the hall making everyone gasp at the revelation. Jungkook froze at his place. Jungkook looked at John with hard eyes and tightened his grip on his collar, and muttered angrily.

"What are you saying?" His voice was low and deep, making everyone feel shiver at the intensity of his voice.

"I'm saying the truth, Jungkook. She has been cheating on you for a few months now, and she is even pregnant with my child, yet here she is shamlessly attending here and getting engaged to another man while carrying someone else's child." John said while pointing towards Euniee and looked at her with angry and disgusted eyes. He jerked himself away from Jungkook, who stood frozen at his place while looking at a void with blank eyes while everyone was standing at their place with wide eyes, not believing what their ears just heard.
