"Why did you call me now, huh?" Taehyung entered the Jungkook's office without knocking and rudely asked. Jungkook looked up in irritation but said nothing. He swallowed his frustration, as this behaviour had become routine, and he was accustomed to it by now.

Setting his frustration aside, Jungkook took a deep breath and said, "I called you here to let you know that my mother has invited you and your family for dinner." Jungkook said and looked straight at Taehyung, letting his words sink in his head and when he saw a confused frown forming on his lips he continued, "We'll be heading to my house together in my car."

Taehyung quickly opposed the idea, his tone sharp. "There's no way I'm sitting in your car," he snapped. "I'd rather walk miles on foot than share a ride with you."

Jungkook sighed in annoyance, his irritation evident. "I didn’t call you here to ask for your opinion," he said firmly. "I called you to tell you what will be done. We’re going together, and that’s final." He then continued, "It's my mother's order, and she'll kill me if I didn’t take you with me, so stop arguing and just do what I say."

Taehyung tried to argue, but Jungkook cut him off by suddenly standing up from a chair, refusing to listen. Without another word, he walked out of the office, leaving the an annoyed Taehyung behind, and called over his shoulder, "I’m waiting for you in the car."

As Jungkook left, Taehyung mockingly mimicked him under his breath and stomped his feet on the floor like an annoyed child, his frustration boiling over in an immature display.

Jungkook is sitting in the driver’s seat of his sleek black car, tapping his fingers impatiently on the steering wheel.

"What's taking him so long?" He muttered out in irritation under his breath and then glanced at his watch, letting out a deep sigh. Moments later, Taehyung trudges out of the office building, his expression a mix of annoyance and resignation.

Reluctantly, he opens the car door and slumps into the passenger seat without a word, arms crossed and glaring out of the window. Jungkook starts the engine, glancing at him briefly. “Buckle up,” he says, his tone firm but calm.

Taehyung huffs but obeys, snapping the seatbelt into place. The tension in the car is palpable as they drive off toward Jungkook’s house. Neither speaks, the silence filled only by the hum of the engine and the faint sound of traffic outside.

As the car moved through the busy streets, Taehyung couldn’t hold back his frustration. "You know," he began, his tone dripping with sarcasm, "this is such a privilege, being chauffeured around like I’m royalty. Really, I should thank you for gracing me with your presence, oh mighty fiancé."

Jungkook rolled his eyes at Taehyung's remark and muttered, "You're welcome," he replied flatly, his eyes never leaving the road.

"Oh, don’t strain yourself with the effort of politeness," Taehyung shot back, leaning slightly toward him. "It’s already so hard for you to pretend you’re tolerable for more than five minutes."

Jungkook clenched his jaw but said nothing, keeping his eyes on the road.

Encouraged by the lack of a response, Taehyung continued, "And I think you should give more of these services after the stunt you pulled these last days. I deserve this much as an apology, no. You should pick and drop me off at the office right."

Jungkook ’s grip on the steering wheel tightened, trying to keep his annoyance to himself. "Are you done?" he asked, his voice low but tinged with irritation.

Taehyung smirked. "Not even close. Did you practice that whole 'I’m waiting in the car' line in the mirror? Real intimidating, by the way."

Jungkook exhaled sharply, glancing at Taehyung briefly. "You’ve got a lot of energy to complain. Maybe save some for dinner, where you’ll actually have an audience who cares."
