A calm night envelopes the world in a soothing stillness, where the soft glow of the moon casts a silvery light over the landscape. The air is cool and crisp, carrying the faint scent of nature. Stars twinkle quietly in the vast, dark sky, as if whispering secrets to the earth below. The gentle rustle of leaves and the occasional chirp of crickets are the only sounds, creating a serene symphony that invites peace and reflection.

Both the Kim and Jeon households were gathered around their respective dining tables for dinner. In the Kim household, the atmosphere was quieter than usual, with Mr. Kim occasionally glances at Mrs. Kim, clearly still frustrated about the events from the previous night. Taehyung and Yeonjun exchanged subtle looks, trying to avoid getting caught in any brewing tension, while Mrs. Kim remained composed, eating her meal as if nothing had happened.

Meanwhile, at the Jeon household, the mood was tense but slightly livelier. Mrs. Jeon kept making snide remarks about how fortunate they were to be free of "that family's drama," which made Mr. Jeon sighed in exasperation. Jungkook kept his head down, focusing on his plate, not wanting to get roped into the conversation, while Soobin tried to lighten the mood with random anecdotes, though his efforts went largely unnoticed Both families were dealing with the aftermath in their own way, but the storm brewing beneath the surface was palpable.

At the Jeon household, Mr. Jeon suddenly straightened his posture, his expression resolute. Letting out a deep sigh, he spoke firmly, his voice leaving no room for argument, "You did what you wanted to do last night, and I stayed silent. But now, I won't be keeping my silence any longer. Jungkook's and Taehyung's marriage will happen on the decided date, and from tomorrow, you will start the marriage preparations."

His words fell like a thunderclap over the dining table. Mrs. Jeon gaped at him, completely taken aback by his declaration, while Jungkook's fork froze midway to his mouth, his eyes wide with disbelief. Soobin looked between his parents, sensing the growing tension but unsure if he should interject. The atmosphere in the room became heavy, signalling that the battle of wills was far from over.

At the Kim household, a similar scene unfolded. Mr. Kim, who had been silently eating his dinner, suddenly placed his chopsticks down and sat upright. With a deep breath, he broke the tense silence with a firm declaration, "Enough is enough. Last night, I let things slide, but not anymore. Taehyung's and Jungkook's marriage will proceed as planned on the decided date. From tomorrow, you'll begin the preparations."

His words left the entire family dumbfounded. Mrs. Kim stared at him, her lips parting in shock, while Taehyung nearly choked on his water, his wide eyes darting toward his father. Yeonjun froze mid-bite, glancing nervously between his parents, unsure whether to intervene. The atmosphere grew thick with disbelief, signalling that the discussion had only just begun and a storm was brewing.

Mrs. Kim looked utterly dumbfounded at her husband's words, her expression a mix of disbelief and annoyance. "Didn't I make myself clear last night that I don't want to marry my son into that household? Then why are you bringing this topic up again?" she asked sharply, her tone leaving no room for doubt about her stance.

Taehyung, sitting beside her, nodded vigorously at her words as if to say, "Eomma is absolutely right." He crossed his arms and narrowed his eyes at his father, clearly siding with his mother. "Exactly, Appa! Why are you trying to force this again?" he added, his voice laced with defiance.

The room grew tense as Mr. Kim locked eyes with his wife, his jaw tightening, signalling that he wasn't backing down without a fight.

Meanwhile, in the Jeon household, a similar scene unfolded. Mrs. Jeon slammed her chopsticks on the table, her eyes narrowing at her husband. "Are you out of your mind? Didn't I make it crystal clear that I don't want my son to marry into that family? What part of that don't you understand?" Her voice was sharp, and her frustration was evident.
