Back in the Shadow Realm, the witches reappeared before the Shadow Phoenix, their forms kneeling in submission.
"Did you manage to find the location of the Tree of Life?" the Shadow Phoenix asked, his voice a low growl.
Scarlett spoke first, her tone tinged with frustration. "We encountered some difficulties, Master."
The Shadow Phoenix's eyes narrowed in disdain. "How pathetic. Overpowered by a bunch of pixies?"
"It wasn't the pixies," Tasma interjected, her head bowed. "The fairies assisted them."
The Shadow Phoenix fell silent, his gaze distant as if deep in thought. He recalled the presence he had felt earlier, a powerful force that had unexpectedly intruded upon his realm.
"It must be that fairy whose presence I sensed," he mused to himself, his expression unreadable. "If her soul could wander so far into this realm, she must possess considerable power. Perhaps I can turn this to my advantage."
Electra glanced up, curiosity burning in her eyes. "Which fairy, Master?"
The Shadow Phoenix waved off her question dismissively. "That is none of your concern for now. What matters is the task at hand. I will bestow extra powers upon you to aid in your mission. Do not fail me again."
The witches exchanged glances, their eyes filled with a mix of anticipation and apprehension. The Shadow Phoenix's power was immense, and the thought of receiving even a fraction of it was both thrilling and terrifying.
The Shadow Phoenix raised one hand, dark energy swirling around his fingertips. "Prepare yourselves," he commanded. The witches braced as the dark energy flowed from him, tendrils of shadow wrapping around each of them. The energy pulsed with a cold, malevolent force, seeping into their very beings.
The witches felt the surge of dark energy intensify within them as the Shadow Phoenix's power infused their being. Scarlett's forehead now bore a glowing red jewel, Tasma's wrist shimmered with a purple gem, and Electra's thigh was adorned with a blue, luminescent bracelet. Each jewel pulsed with malevolent energy, amplifying their powers to new, sinister heights.
Scarlett smirked, feeling the darkness swirling within her. "With this power, we'll be unstoppable."
Electra nodded, a wicked grin spreading across her face. "We won't fail you this time."
Tasma, her eyes glowing with a dark light, added, "The fairies won't know what hit them."
The Shadow Phoenix's voice resonated through the dark realm, filled with a chilling authority. "Use this power wisely, and do not disappoint me again."
The witches bowed deeply, their determination renewed. "Yes, Master," they said in unison.

As the sun began to set, the village was mostly restored, and the fairies and specialists gathered in the village square, surrounded by the grateful pixies.
Ninfea watched with a warm smile, her heart swelling with gratitude. "Thank you, all of you," she said, her voice filled with emotion. "Your kindness and bravery have saved our village."
"No, thank you for helping us; we were just returning the favour," Danielle replied, her voice warm yet tinged with urgency.
"It's alright, dear," Ninfea said, giving Danielle a reassuring smile before her expression grew serious. "But now I must act quickly. The witches may return, and we cannot risk another attack. I need to conceal the entire village for our safety."
