The vines wrapped around Danielle's limbs, halting her movements. For a brief moment, the fairies dared to hope—until golden flames ignited around her body, incinerating the vines instantly.

Artemisia gasped. "No way! How can that be."

"What is all this ruckus about?" a small yet authoritative voice called out.

The fairies turned toward the source, surprised to see a tiny pixie hovering nearby with her arms crossed and an irritated expression. She had sandy blonde hair styled into two curled buns on the sides of her head. She wore a flowing blue robe, a dark blue witch's hat, and very tiny glasses perched on her nose.

"And who are you?" Crystal asked, rubbing her sore shoulder.

The pixie huffed. "I should be the one asking you that! You barge into my library, make a mess, and now you're attacking someone? What is all this commotion about?"

"This is your library?" Lithia asked, blinking in surprise.

"Of course it is! Who else do you think maintains this place?" The pixie adjusted her tiny glasses, clearly unimpressed. "I am Concorda, Pixie of Alphea's Magic Archive." With a flick of her wrist, the scattered books Danielle had tossed began floating back onto their proper shelves.

She then turned to Danielle, her expression stern. "Unruly fairy, stop throwing those books around. Most of them are older than you!" She floated closer, narrowing her eyes at Danielle.

Danielle showed no sign of acknowledgement. She simply continued searching through the bookshelf.

Concorda hovered closer, narrowing her eyes as if assessing her. "Hmph. Something's not right with this one." Raising a hand, she cast a small spell, enveloping Danielle in a soft blue glow. The magic shimmered for only a second before flickering out.

"That magic just bounced off her," Concorda muttered, intrigued. "Fascinating. And concerning."

"She's looking for something," Luna said. "But we don't know what."

Concorda tapped her chin thoughtfully. "This has all the signs of a classic possession case."

Crystal sighed. "Yeah, we already figured that part out."

"Well then, the last time I encountered something like this, it was because of the Codex?" Concorda quipped.

At the mention of the word, Danielle's head snapped toward her, eyes suddenly sharp and focused.

"The Codex", she finally spoke, her voice eerily hollow. "I need it."

"I am not handing you the codex; it's too important to be in the hands of a young fairy," Concorda said.

Danielle, not pleased with the answer, crackled with energy she directed towards Concorda.

Before Concorda could react, the attack already sent her backwards across the room. The fairies gasped as the tiny pixie crashed into a floating bookshelf, knocking several books loose.

"That's it! I've had it with this!" Crystal snapped. "Danielle or not, I'm not just going to stand here and—"

But before she could finish, Danielle turned sharply, thrusting her other hand forward. A powerful shockwave burst from her palm, sending the fairies skidding across the marble floor.

Suddenly, books tore themselves from the shelves, swirling into the air as if caught in a raging cyclone. Pages fluttered wildly, the once-organised library descending into chaos.

"She's completely out of control!" Lithia shouted, shielding her face from the flying debris.

"We have to stop her before she destroys everything!" Carissa yelled over the storm of magic.
