The next day~
"Wow, it's really broken," Lithia said as she examined Crystal's shattered phone on her desk, Crystal standing beside her with a resigned expression.
"The important parts are all messed up, and a few are even missing. Buying a new one is the only option now," Cybele, Lithia's pixie, remarked, perched on her shoulder.
Crystal sighed heavily. "Guess I better start saving, then."
Symphony let out an exasperated sigh. "Those witches are so frustrating!"
"Yeah, they sure are," Lithia agreed as the two girls left their room and made their way to the common area of the dorm.
"Did you fix your phone?" Artemisia asked, her hands busy playing with Pollen, her pixie, who was giggling as she darted between Artemisia's fingers.
"No, it's obsolete," Cybele responded before Crystal could.
"Well, that's bad," Carissa commented. The rest of the pixies were engrossed in a video game, their laughter and shouts filling the room with a light-hearted energy.
Crystal flopped onto the nearest couch, rubbing her temples. "I can't believe I have to deal with this now. The worst timing ever."
"How did they even manage to destroy it so badly?" Artemisia asked, finally setting Pollen down. The little pixie fluttered off to join the others at the video game.
"Electra stepped on it," Crystal muttered, the memory still fresh.
"Ugh, they really know how to ruin someone's day," Symphony said, her tiny wings beating furiously as she hovered beside Crystal.
Crystal leaned back into the couch, staring up at the ceiling. "I'll figure something out. But for now, I just need to recover from all this drama."
Just then, the door to the common area creaked open, and Danielle and Luna strolled in, their faces glowing with excitement. "Hi, girls!" Danielle greeted
"Hey, you guys are back," Lithia said, gesturing toward Crystal. "Crystal's phone is completely wrecked."
Luna's eyes widened in shock. "Wait, seriously? You can't fix it."
"She stepped on it," Crystal muttered with annoyance. "Crushed it into pieces."
"How unbelievable," Danielle replied, her face tight with frustration as she crossed her arms.
"Maybe we could help you get a new phone, Crystal," Carissa offered, finally looking up from her book, her brow furrowed in concern.
"Yeah, we could all chip in or find a way to raise some money. You don't have to deal with this alone," Artemisia added, flashing a warm smile.
"I totally agree," Danielle nodded, while Luna gave a small, quiet nod of support beside her.
Crystal smiled at the thoughtful suggestions, feeling the care radiating from her friends. "Thanks, guys, but I'll handle it myself. I don't want to burden anyone."
"Tch... you and your ego, so stubborn." Lithia shook her head.
The room erupted into soft laughter, and even Crystal couldn't help but chuckle.
"Hey, I like to think of it as independence," Crystal shot back playfully.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever you need to call it," Lithia grinned.
Crystal nodded and rolled her eyes playfully. "Understood."
Just as she finished speaking, a sudden knock on the door interrupted the moment. Everyone paused, exchanging curious glances.
