The fairies and specialists pressed forward through the strange dimension. After what felt like hours, they finally spotted dilapidated castle in the distance.

"There it is," Darian said, nodding toward it.

"I have a feeling Danielle's inside," Luna said.

"Well, it's not like there's anything else around here," Zen added dryly.

The broken gate creaked open as they entered the castle grounds, their steps cautious as they crossed the desolate courtyard toward an open archway. Inside, the castle was deathly quiet. Cracked stone walls and shattered statues lined the halls, with only the sound of their footsteps.

"Stay close, everyone," Daniel said, his sword glowing in the darkness. The silence was broken by a faint slithering sound echoing through the halls.

A chill ran down everyone's spines.

"We're not alone," Crystal whispered, her grip tightening on Artemisia's arm.

The slithering grew louder, something approaching fast.

"They've found us!" Carissa whispered fearfully.

"Stick together, we've got this," Evander said, drawing his weapon, and the rest of the specialists followed suit, ready for whatever was coming.

"I want to go home," Artemisia muttered, her voice trembling.

"We've come too far to turn back now," Lithia reassured her,

From the shadows, twisted creatures emerged, their grotesque forms crawling toward them. Their eyes glowed faintly in the dim light.

The girls huddled together behind the specialists in fear as the creatures drew closer. They had no magic, no weapons—only the protection of the specialists.

"Ready yourselves!" Daniel shouted, and with that, the guys leapt into action, their weapons flashing in the dim light.

Darian was the first to strike, his staff cleaved through one of the creatures. It crumpled to the ground, dissolving into a pool of dark sludge.

The girls stood tense, watching as the specialists fought off the relentless swarm of creatures. But for every one they defeated, two more seemed to take its place

"Run!" Daniel shouted. "We need to keep moving!"

Without hesitation, the girls turned and bolted deeper into the castle. The specialists swiftly followed. The twisted monsters kept pursuing them, their eerie screeches growing louder with every step.

The winged monsters swooped down, diving toward the group. Evander fired his crossbow, trying to take them down, but one of them managed to grab Crystal and lift her into the air.

Crystal struggled in the creature's grip, her heart racing as she fought to break free. "Let go of me!" she screamed, her hands clawing at its talons.

Suddenly, a glowing rope shot out, wrapping around the creature's leg.

"Hold on, Crystal! I've got you!" Zen called, pulling the creature down with a powerful yank. The monster screeched, its wings flailing as it tried to break free.

Zen and Crystal both tumbled to the floor, but thankfully, neither of them was harmed.

Crystal let out a relieved sigh. "That was too close," she said, her heart still racing.
