"It seems like the disruption in the fairy's soul has been resolved," the Shadow Phoenix observed, his tone dark and contemplative. "The soul wandering has ceased."
He gazed into the swirling depths of his dark realm, his expression a mix of irritation and calculation.
"Master, Tasma, Electra, and I have devised a plan to obtain the Red Fountain Codex," Scarlett announced, stepping forward. "In a week, they'll be holding their exhibition day. With the increased crowd and the security being less stringent, it presents the perfect opportunity to infiltrate and steal the Codex."
The Shadow Phoenix's eyes glinted with a cold satisfaction. "Very well. Make sure everything goes as planned. Use your new powers wisely and do not fail me."
"We won't fail you," Scarlett assured him, her voice steady.

The next day, the girls gathered at the lake for their first magical defence class of the year. The air buzzed with excitement and a touch of nervousness as the second-year students assembled, each already in their fairy forms.
"Good morning, girls," Zephyr greeted. The students responded with a mix of excitement and curiosity, eager to see what their new instructor had in store for them.
Zephyr gave a nod of acknowledgement and smiled. "I'm glad to see you all ready and enthusiastic. Today, we'll start with a practical assessment. Each of you will have a sparring match with me. This will give me a chance to see how you defend yourselves and apply what you've learnt so far."
The students exchanged excited and nervous glances. The idea of facing their new instructor in a sparring match was both thrilling and intimidating.
Zephyr continued, "Don't worry. This isn't about winning or losing. It's about testing your skills and learning from the experience. Remember, the goal is to defend effectively and use your magic strategically."
He gestured for the first student to step forward, signalling the beginning of their hands-on training.
The first student, a tall girl with striking green hair, stepped forward with a mixture of determination and nerves. Her eyes locked onto Zephyr's as she prepared for her turn.
Zephyr gave her an encouraging nod. "Whenever you're ready," he said, his tone warm and supportive.
The girl, gathering her focus, began by summoning a gust of wind that swirled around her. She used the wind to launch a series of sharp, slicing air currents toward Zephyr.
Zephyr responded with fluid ease, his own magic forming a protective barrier that absorbed and redirected the air currents. He countered with a gentle push of wind that gently deflected the girl's next series of attacks.
After the sparring match, Zephyr offered his advice and praised her efforts.
The green-haired girl nodded, visibly encouraged by Zephyr's feedback. She stepped aside, a smile on her face.
"So, who's up next?" Zephyr asked, his eyes scanning the eager faces of the students.
Immediately, a wave of girls surged forward, each vying for the chance to demonstrate their skills. The excitement was palpable as they jostled for position, their voices overlapping as they called out to be selected.
Zephyr chuckled softly at their enthusiasm. "Alright, let's have a bit of order here. How about you?" He pointed to Luna.
Luna, her fairy form glowing softly, stepped up with a determined expression. She gave a quick, reassuring glance at her friends before focusing on Zephyr.
