Training and The Promise

Rena's POV

"Urgg, I have to go help Kakashi train the team." I thought as I woke up.

"I can't believe I told them about my past. I wonder why I did that I never tell anyone my past." I thought.

I heard the whistle calling for me to appear. I sighed and thought," I'm beginning to think that they enjoy my company as the shadow reaper but I wonder will they still feel the same way if I showed them my true identity."

I got up from the bed, changed into my black clothing, grabbed my scythe, and appeared in front of the team.

"You know I'm beginning to believe you guys just love to make an S-rank ninja and a total stranger do your dirty work." I told them.

"Maaa, sorry Shadow Reaper." Kakashi said rubbing the back of his neck.

"I've been meaning to ask but how do you get here so fast?" Kakashi asked.

"Oh about that I just run here." I told them.

"Huh!!!" They say.

"Well, I'm kinda too fast. On a scale 1-10 my speed is scored 13. I have to wear weights to slow me down but they don't really make a difference." I told them.

"How heavy are your weights?" Naruto ask.

"Umm, about 80 pounds on each arm and leg." I said.

They all deadpan and murmured something about it being no way and how I was a weight monster.

"How fast are you without the weights?" Kakashi asked.

"Well, the trip from the sand village and the lead village takes 3 days. With my weights off I could make it their in about 10 minutes or less, with my weights I could make it their in 30 minutes or less." I told him.

"You really are fast." Kakashi said.

"Yup, now that we're done talking about how fast I am let's go and train now if you don't mind." I said. They nodded their heads as I looked at them.

(After Training)

Well, training went well, except for the part when Naruto and Sasuke started to argue a lot. They're learning how to climb trees without their hands. I gave them some advice I hope they listen to me. I looked at the sky and thought," It's time for me to leave."

I got up and Kakashi asked where I was going. I looked at him and said," I have to go I won't be able to come for a week. I will come to aid you in the battle with Zabuza. For now I would have to leave."

"Do you have to go?" He asked.

"Kakashi, I must leave for if I don't all the people with pure souls would be tainted. I cannot let that happen I promised myself I would live my little sister's dream. Dreams don't achieve themselves ya know." I said smiling at him.

"Will I ever get to see your face without your mask?" He asked me.

"You will in do time, you'll learn who I am and you'll have to get rid of me. When you get rid of me I need you to continue my little sister's wish for me. Promise me that if something happens to me you'll take my little sister's dream and fulfill it for me and her." I looked him in the eye and held out my pinky.

He wrapped his pinky in my pinky and said," I promise, but I don't get what you mean when I have to get rid of you."

I sighed and said," I have a bad feeling in about a week when we fight Zabuza. I have to go now, I'm sorry." I fled into the darkness and disappeared from everyone.

Kakashi's POV

'What the heck? Why did I make that promise? I wonder what she means when I get rid of her? Why would I get rid of her? She's just a kid acting like a grown adult. Plus I doubt she did anything wrong, people consider her a hero. I wonder if she'll stay with us. I wonder if she'll stay in the leaf village?' I thoughts were disturb by Rena.

"Kakashi, do you have something in you mind you look distracted." she said.

"Oh, nothing much just thought about what the shadow reaper told me." I said.

"Hey, Kakashi can I ask you something?" She asked

"Sure what is it?"

"Do you like the shadow reaper?"

I blushed under my mask and said,"W-what do you mean?"

"Oh you know, like you wanna date her kinda like."

"I like her but not like that." It would be weird if I liked a stranger who I don't know. I just know her by her tittle.

"Whatever you say Kakashi."

"Let's go back in the house now, Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Rena." They all nodded their heads and we made our way to the house. We said our goodnight and fell asleep. Except for me I thought about what Rena asked me. "Do I really like the shadow reaper or Rena?" I thought.
