A/N: Think of the university as if it's kind of like Hogwarts from Harry Potter. It's not exactly the same, but it has that vibe. I don't know how else to describe it.
Other notes: The reader is in thier mind to late twenties.

+++++++++++++++++++++I was in my dorm room alone listening to music. I wanted to text my friends, but I knew they were busy traveling. Everyone from the university had left for winter break. As far as I knew I was the only one here besides some staff members. Luckily the cafeteria was still open; they changed the hours they were operating though, which was understandable. They didn't have to accommodate for hundreds of students during break. Tonight I brought my food up to my room; it was pointless sitting in that big empty dinning hall. Even if a few staff members were there. It would feel strange to me trying to make small talk with them. Especially since they weren't any of the professors I had.
I was sitting on the floor with my back against the side of my bed. Enjoying the music I had playing and drawing in my sketchbook. A knock on my door took me out of my thoughts. 'Who could that be? Is it because my music is too loud?' I wondered. 'There's no way someone could be complaining about the noise. All of the staff members are on the second floor. My dorm is on the seventh floor.' I thought as I turned down the volume and stood up to see who it was. I opened the door a crack and instantly felt nervous. In front of me in the hallway was a familiar face. I hadn't seen him often, but when I did I saw him in the dinning hall. He always sat at the table with the rest of the staff members.
All of the other students said he was the dean of the university, but no one really knew. I guess no one ever thought to ask a professor who he was. I just knew that he always had my attention any time I saw him. Maybe it was his platinum blond hair, red lips, and his fashion style. This evening he was wearing white baseball pants, white boots, a lacy white shirt, and a red leather jacket. Around his neck were several pearl necklace. Most of the time he was dressed in these colors. "I'm sorry. Was my music too loud?" I asked shyly. "No, not at all. I'm just curious as to what you were listening to." He replied with a small smile tugging at the corners of his big red lips.
"Oh... I was listening to Brain Dead by a band called Beach Weather." I replied awkwardly. "I like what I could hear. Is it okay if I come in? I imagine being the only student here must be lonely." He said and I considered his offer for a moment. Eventually I let him inside in hopes to have someone to hangout with. Even though I have friends we don't really get to spend much time together. We all have different focuses in our studies. And our paths have been branching out more and more over the years. This year more than past years. I've honestly felt more lonely than I would like to admit. He joined me in sitting on the floor with our back against the side of my bed.
Since he likes the song I had been playing I decided to start it over. I figured he would probably like to listen to it from the beginning. I glanced at him every once in a while. I noticed how handsome he looked. He must have sensed me looking at him because he turned his head to look at me. I blushed when we made eye contact. He smiled and I couldn't help but smile back despite my shyness. I noticed how pretty his blue eyes as we looked at each other. I barely noticed that the song had changed. We looked at each other for a few moments before I broke the comfortable silence. "Are you the dean of the university?" I asked curiously. His smile grew and laughed softly. "I am. You can call me Sevens by the way. It's what everyone calls me." He said with a small smile on his red lips.
"My name is y/n." I said. "I know. The professors have told me great things about you." He replied, making me realize I had been staring at his lips a little too long. When I glanced up at him he was looking at me with a look and sparkle in his eyes that made me blush. I got butterflies as well. "Oh..." I replied shyly as I looked down and fidgeted with the sleeves of my sweater a bit. "I should go. It's getting late and it's almost curfew." He said and looked up at him again. I didn't want him to go, but I didn't wanna seem clingy. So I didn't say anything to make him stay. "Goodnight." I said after we stood up and walked towards the door. "Goodnight, y/n." He said before he left. I watched as he walked towards the door at the end of the hall.
I knew it lead to the dean's tower; it doubles as his office and living quarters. A place that was off limits to students and staff unless invited. He closed the door behind himself and I could hear it lock. I closed my room door and locked it before changing into my pajamas. I stayed up a little longer listening to music and drawing. But eventually I started feeling tired and got ready for bed.

The next day I decided to go into town. I had some leftover birthday money and I wanted to see what I could get. I was really hoping that I could find some crafts to do or books to read. I needed to find things that would occupy my time. I was lucky enough that the town was in walking distance. Before heading out I made sure it be bundled up due to the cold weather. The first store I stopped at was the book store. After looking around I found two books and a new journal to write in. Then I went into a toy store. I ended up buying a few small Lego build sets. All three of them were flower ones. Lastly, I walked into the candy shop. Mostly because the arts and crafts store was closed today. I grabbed a couple of my favorite candies and then looked around.
"If you're looking for something different you should try this." A familiar voice said. I looked to my right and saw Sevens. He was wearing a black faux fur coat with his otherwise usual white attire. "Are you following me?" I asked jokingly, which made him chuckle softly. "No. I promise." He replied with a charming smile. The two of us talked about candy and he suggested I try a few things I hadn't had before. After buying everything we walked outside into the cold air. The snow flakes had gotten bigger since I was in the store. "Try this." He said as he opened a packet of candy. He grabbed a piece of black gummy candy that was covered in sugar or sour powder.
I held my hand out and he placed it in my palm. I put the candy in my mouth and was pleasantly surprised. It was a black currant flavor that was tart and slightly sour. I could tell why it was one of his favorites. "Hey, you have a little... come here." He said softly. When he gently brushed his thumb against my lower lip I blushed like crazy. I probably looked like the red ornaments that were on the Christmas decorations. Butterflies fluttered wildly in my stomach and my heart started beating faster. So much so I thought he could hear it. "Thanks." I said shyly after looking down and fidgeting with my shopping bags. "Come on, let's get back to the university. The snow is coming down heavier." He said. "Okay." I replied. The two of us walked back to the university quietly. After a while we made small talk.
"I liked the candy by the way." I said. "Good. Most people don't, but I knew you'd probably like it." He replied with a smile. I smiled back and noticed his cheeks were a little pink from the cold. He looked kinda cute and the thought made me smile more. When we reached the university we walked upstairs together. The place did have an elevator, but it was only for disabled students and staff. "I'll make us a hot chocolate. That should warm us up." He said as he motioned for me to follow him. It felt strange as I he unlocked the door that lead to his office and living quarters. Not many people got to go where I was about to go. He locked the door behind us and I followed up up a spiral staircase. He opened another door and locked it behind him as well. His office was the room we entered first. A large desk faced a beautiful row of windows.
Every other window was adorned with stained glass. All of them were themed around the four seasons. On the other side of the room was a couch and couple of chairs. All of which were facing a beautiful fireplace. A fire roared within it. I shedded some layers and he did the same. Underneath his black faux fur coat he was wearing a black button down shirt. Most of the top buttons were undone. I could see his pearl necklaces and a silver heart necklace as well. "Have a seat. I'll make us hot chocolate. Would you like whipped cream or marshmallows?" He said ruffling his platinum blond curls a bit. "Marshmallows." I replied before I sat on the charcoal grey couch. The warmth of the fireplace felt lovely.
It reminded me of the fireplaces in the common room across from the library. A few moments passed before Sevens walked on with a hot chocolate tray. He sat it on the coffee table and I thanked him. I added mini marshmallows to my cup before taking a sip. It tasted delicious and warmed my insides. When I looked over at him I giggled softly. "What? What is it?" He asked with a little chuckle. "You have whipped cream on your upper lip." I replied with a smile. "Oh. Thanks for letting me know." He replied with a big smile. He grabbed a napkin and wiped his top lip. I caught myself staring at his lips and blushed before looking away. I couldn't stop my thoughts from wondering how it would feel like to be kissed by him.
