We have already landed at Heathrow Airport, and all I want to do is to sleep! My body aches all over and my eyelids are getting heavier every minute.
"Ipapadala na lang 'yan sa staff, huwag mo nang buhatin," Enrico instructed me when I attempted to carry one of my luggages.
I'm so sleepy! Pakiramdam ko, my eyes are halfway closed na.
Wala rin naman akong ginawa sa buong flight kung hindi matulog.
I can feel my limbs getting weak so I clung on to Enrico's arm, which is something I don't usually do.
He, on the other hand, instantly noticed my strange behaviour.
"You okay?" he asked as he held my hand, rubbing it gently.
"Yeah."
There was a van waiting for us outside so we didn't need to wait to get to the hotel. Thank goodness!
He assisted me to get in first, and he followed after.
"Good morning, Mr. and Mrs. Ignacio!" the driver greeted us warmly.
I just smiled and let Enrico do the talking. Sumandal na lang ako sa balikat niya at inakbayan niya ako to keep my body in place.
I wasn't able to take a nap in the van because the hotel was just nearby. Pagkababa ng sasakyan, diretso pasok na sa loob to check in. It was a quick process dahil may reservation naman na kami.
As we got up to the room, I can feel my temples hurting and my stomach turning upside down. I didn't want Enrico to notice so I subtly covered my mouth with my palm, hoping that he doesn't notice anything.
"Sasabay ba tayong kumain ng breakfast..."
His voice turned inaudible as I hurriedly ran to the bathroom, straight to the sink to throw up.
"Cari?" I heard Enrico's voice getting closer so I immediately washed my mouth out with water.
It didn't take long before he was able to find me in the bathroom. "Anong nangyari sa'yo?" tanong niya.
I wiped the lower half of my face with a towel, and I inhaled deeply before facing him.
"I don't know." I shrugged my shoulders and twitched my lips. "It must have been something I ate. Sumama ang pakiramdam ko."
He nodded slowly, observing every inch of my face. "Sasabay ba tayo sa breakfast? Or you need to rest muna?"
"I need to rest. You can go ahead if you want," I told him.
He agreed rin naman and said na he will stay with me here.
Yes, he's been so nice to me for quite a while na. Ako na itong hinahanap ang misunderstandings namin dahil parang kahit anong gawin kong pag-iinarte, hindi kami nagtatalo unlike before.
Well, maybe I should just enjoy it while it lasts.
Anyway, I changed into my comfortable clothes before laying on the soft, king-sized mattress. The minute my back hit the bed, I was out.

I was greeted by silence when I woke up. The emptiness of the bedroom showed no signs of Enrico. It was dead silent, almost deafening.
As I walked outside to the living area of the suite, the aroma of the savory meal laid out on the table was the first thing I noticed.
It was still hot so I assume na kararating lang nito dito.
