I could file a restraining order right now, but I wouldn't. I want that man to come closer and see what'll happen to him if he did.

What I did was to heighten Cari's security whenever she goes out or even just our security at home. We never know what that man's got in mind.

Since that day, pati ang mga deliveries sa bahay, dadaan muna sa'kin bago makaabot sa loob. Paranoid kung paranoid, but I want everything thoroughly checked.

"Sir, ito na po 'yung file na pinapahanap niyo? Pinadala na po ni Mr. Fabio." My secretary placed a brown envelope on my desk, sealed and marked confidential from the tight plastic wrap.

Setting my paper works aside, I unwrapped the envelope from the plastic which is keeping it secure.

There are a few pieces of paper inside which are documents corresponding to my requests.

To cut the long story short, I asked someone to bring me any kind of detail regarding this Samuel Reverde who's been disturbing me and my family, lately.

Well...it's my wife that he's actually after.

Scanning through the papers, I read some details about him.

He's a member of the Reverde clan, in charge of a few businesses within their province and the metro area.

Well, I don't give a f*ck.

No criminal records...well, he's about to have one if he keeps on doing what he's doing.

Unsatisfied with the limited information on the papers, I reached for my phone and contacted Mr. Fabio.

["Mr. Ignacio?"]

"Yes, it's me. I'm gonna ask if there really is no information about his relationships other than familial ties?"

No beating around the bush. His relationship history is what I'm looking for, honestly.

["Medyo mahirap hanapan, Mr. Ignacio. Masyadong tago ang intimate relationships niya. Even records of his romantic ties, mahirap hanapan."]

Ah...so pailalim ka pala talaga.

Every time, when I get home, the first thing I do is check up on my wife and my daughter. It became a habit.

It was a productive morning so I was able to leave the office by afternoon.

".....matigil 'no?! Okay, fine! Bukas, magkita tayo. Is that what you want? Alright, I'll give it to you!"

Cari's distressed voice echoed around the room as I opened the door.

She's got her phone held up to her ear and her back turned against me. After hanging up what seems to be a phone call, she threw her phone on the bed with much force.

As she turned around, she jumped in surprise when she saw me standing just a few feet away from her.

"E-enrico...kanina ka pa?"

Trying hard to shake off what I just heard, I flashed a smile as I walked closer. "No, kararating ko lang. Why'd you throw your phone on the bed?"

She looked uneasy, and I can tell she's panicking because she's fidgeting with her fingers.
