"Mommy's not feeling herself lately. Help me to cheer her up, alright?" I talked to our baby, even though she won't be able to talk back.

Obviously, Cari's not feeling well for the past few days. Ever since nakauwi kami, she's been acting real weird and I don't know what to do about it. Hindi niya rin naman sinasabi ng diretsahan kung anong gumugulo sa kaniya kaya mas lalo akong nahihirapang tulungan siya.

I just hope that my small gestures are helping ease whatever she's feeling.

"Sir?"

I turned around upon hearing our staff's voice.

"May dumating pong delivery sa baba. Para daw po sa inyo. Nasa sala na po," she said.

Ah, yung flowers na inorder ko. Dumating na.

I gave her a nod. "Thanks. Pakisabihan nga rin ang mga tao sa kusina na lutuin 'yung soup na nagugustuhan ni Cari lately. Samahan na rin ng garlic bread then paki-akyat dito mamaya."

She smiled as she nodded her head multiple times. "Sige po, Sir. Baba lang po ako. Dalhin ko na po ba dito sa taas 'yung bulaklak na nasa sala?"

"Ako na kukuha. Pakibantayan muna dito si Cassie," bilin ko bago ako tumayo mula sa kinauupuan.

Susunduin ko na rin sa garden si Cari. Naglalakad lakad siya doon mula kanina. I think it's been an hour?

I headed straight to the garden, and I found my wife playfully kicking the grass while walking around.

She looks adorable. I don't even wanna come close because I just want to watch her do whatever she's doing.

Because of her recent mood stuff, I thought maybe she needs some time outdoors. Baka nakukulong masyado sa bahay kaya kung ano anong naiisip.

She's staring at the ground, walking in big circles with her hands placed behind her back like a curious, little kid.

How beautiful and pure.

She suddenly lifted her face up, and saw me. Her lips curved into a little smile, making me smile, too.

She then came running towards me so I opened my arms and stood still to brace myself for the impact.

The wind caught up in her hair while she's running, and upon reaching me, her arms encircled around my waist, making me smile.

"Why are you here? Akala ko binabantayan mo si Cass?" she asked, looking up at me.

"May nagbabantay sa kaniya do'n. I just thought of checking up on you," I said. "How are you feeling?"

I love how silky her hair is, whenever I'm rubbing my hand against it. Random, I know.

"I'm okay. Much better. Sana lang magtuloy tuloy," sabi niya.

She worries a lot, lately. Anxiety, maybe? I don't know. I've been researching nga so I know how to help her kasi ayaw naman magpadala sa therapist.

"Basta whatever you need, you tell me, alright? Huwag mong solohin 'yang nararamdaman mo. We can take a breather, we can go some place else, we can take a week off, we can--"

I was cut off when she placed her lips over mine.

Everytime she does this, my system just stops. I just can't get used to the feeling, and it's actually what I want. I want to feel the thrill every single time.

"You're enough," she whispered against my lips.

As pulled away from the kiss, I then pressed my lips on her forehead while we're slowly swaying to the rhythms of our heartbeat.
