Carisia

I thought life was good until I met these four babies that ultimately changed my life for the better!

Who knew, I was only expecting for one, and I got four? Even I couldn't believe it the first time I saw them.

"Enrico, have you seen Tucky?" I asked Enrico who's currently washing his face in the bathroom.

"Have you tried looking under the covers?" He asked me.

Oh right! That little cutie loves hiding under the blanket! That's why I named him 'Tucky' because he always gets tucked under the covers for warmth.

I ran back to the bed, then I lifted one of the layers, and instantly, I saw the figure of the little ball of fluff hiding under.

"Tucky, you could suffocate under there!" I scolded him as I picked him up, letting him rest on my hand.

He was looking at me so I pouted my lips at him. "Don't go under the covers ha, baka hindi ka makahinga do'n," saway ko sa kaniya.

He suddenly jumped from my hand, causing me to let out a small scream.

Ugh! I swear, may pagka-suicidal rin itong si Tucky eh! He loves getting into life-risky situations.

"Come on, let's join your brothers downstairs," I called as I walked ahead of him, letting him follow me outside the room.

We're currently on a weekend staycation at one of our beach resthouses so I can breathe some fresh air. Enrico suggested it. The other day, he suddenly informed me that we'll be going on a staycation just so I can take a little break from the city.

Oh! And a little update: we have four babies now. Our cute, little babies that Enrico surprised me with, a few days after I had that chicken meltdown. He got so guilty that he initiated to make it up to me.

The beautiful, refreshing view of the ocean from the glass wall greeted me as I walked downstairs with Tucky. Morning beach view is just what I need  right now.

By the living room, I saw the other three adorable babies playing around.

"Here's your brother who almost killed himself with lack of ventilation," I told them as Tucky joined the group.

They look so cute, flapping their tiny wings while running around their big play area. They've been one of my biggest source of happiness lately, just seeing them playing carefree.

"Cari, let's eat," I heard Enrico's voice coming from behind me so I got up from my squat position, and Enrico was quick enough to hold my waist.

"They look so cute," I told him, referring to the chicks.

He guided me by the arms as we made our way to the dining area. "I know. You've said that countless times since we got them," he said.

Damn! I've been eyeing those mangoes up the tree since we got here, but I've been forgetting to ask for them.

The air is fresh outside so I'm spending my time out here on the hammock while sketching on my pad. I've been trying to lessen my screen time, as well, which is why I'm resorting to my old hobbies.

It's been a while since I last held a pencil and sketchpad because I've been so busy with work and life. Even hobbies don't have a space in my busy calendar.

As I looked up to take a quick glance at the view, my eyes got stuck looking at the plump-looking mango hanging from the branches.

"That looks good and sour..." I muttered to myself as I felt my tongue salivating with the taste.
