Interview:
1. What's the story behind your Wattpad Username, if any?
I wish I could say it was a cool story or had a special meaning. Unfortunately, it's as simple as having a fondness for tea and getting my heart broken. If my memory serves me, I was going through a breakup when I joined Wattpad. So, that is how I created TeaNHeartache.
2. What led you to Wattpad initially? Did you join to read or write?
My answer is both. I was looking for a place to post my writing and naturally found myself reading and supporting my fellow writers. :-)
3. How long have you been writing?
I would say I've enjoyed writing stories since I was little. However, my first real attempt at writing something was when I was a senior in high school. I have that story posted on Wattpad, and it is so terrible. Haha. Still, I posted it because I thought it was fun to look back and see where I started and how far I've come. The best thing I could say after ten years of writing is that it's not about the destination; it's about the journey.
4. Do you like to write in the same genres you read? What are your favorite genres?
My favorite genre is fantasy, without question. I would say that I write fantasy adjacent and/or Romantasy. But I would love to write a more fantasy-forward story in the future. To be even more honest, my big goal is to create my interconnected fantasy universe. Something akin to the MCU, Brandon Sanderson's Cosmere, or Sarah J Maas's Throne of Glass/ACOTAR/Crescent City. It's a big undertaking, but it leaves so much room for fun.
