18. Goodbye.
"Thank you for joining us, Dr. Kapoor," Mrs. Singhania, the head of the workshop, greeted warmly as Siya arrived.
"It's my pleasure, Mrs. Singhania," Siya responded with a polite smile. "I'm excited to be part of this mental health checkup workshop."
"We're thrilled to have you. Your expertise will be invaluable to our participants," Mrs. Singhania said, leading Siya towards the registration area. "We have a packed schedule today, with many attendees eager for guidance and support."
Siya nodded, scanning the room filled with people of all ages and backgrounds. "I'm looking forward to meeting everyone and offering any help I can."
As they walked, Mrs. Singhania handed Siya a detailed program. "We'll start with a brief introduction, followed by individual sessions. We’ve allocated a private room for you to conduct your checkups."
"Perfect," Siya replied, glancing at the schedule. "I see we have a mix of group activities and one-on-one consultations. It’s a great balance."
"Yes, we believe it's important to address both community and individual needs," Mrs. Singhania explained. "And your session on coping strategies has generated a lot of interest."
Siya smiled, feeling a sense of purpose. "I'm glad to hear that. Mental health is so important, and I'm eager to share useful techniques with everyone."
Mrs. Singhania led Siya to her assigned room, where a few people were already waiting. "Here we are. If you need anything, don't hesitate to ask."
"Thank you, Mrs. Singhania. I'm all set," Siya said, setting her bag down and preparing her materials.
"Great. I'll let the attendees know you're ready to begin," Mrs. Singhania said, giving Siya a final encouraging nod before stepping out.
As Siya prepared for her first session, she felt a mix of anticipation and readiness. Today was about helping others, and she was determined to make a positive impact.
