28. Video Call.

Siya and Mihir had packed all their bags and were ready to head back home. Before leaving, Siya made her rounds to say goodbye to everyone, starting with Mr. and Mrs. Sharma. She found them in the hotel's lobby area, sitting with Komal.

"Uncle, Aunty," Siya said, approaching them with a warm smile. "I wanted to thank you for everything. You've been so welcoming."

Mrs. Sharma stood up and hugged Siya tightly. "Oh, beta, it was wonderful having you here. You must come back soon."

"Yes, definitely. And thank you for the delicious food, Aunty. I’ll miss it," Siya replied, smiling.

Mr. Sharma shook Mihir's hand warmly. "Take care, young man. And make sure to visit us again."

"Thank you, Uncle. We had a great time," Mihir said, smiling politely.

Komal came forward and hugged Siya. "You’re leaving already? It feels like you just got here."

Siya hugged her back. "I know, Komal Di. Time flew by so quickly." "Don't forget to stay in touch," Komal said, her voice a bit emotional.

"Of course, Di. I’ll call you as soon as we reach home," Siya promised.

Mihir, standing a little to the side, smiled at the warm interaction but couldn’t help but feel a bit awkward in the midst of all the emotion. Mrs. Sharma noticed this and gave him a motherly smile.

"Mihir, beta, it was lovely meeting you. Don’t be a stranger, okay?" she said.

Mihir nodded. "I won’t, Aunty. Thank you for everything."

Just then, Mr. Sharma clapped Mihir on the shoulder. "And remember, our home is always open to you both. Visit us anytime."

"Thank you, Uncle. We will," Mihir replied, feeling genuinely touched by their warmth.

Komal then turned to Siya, "And you, Siya, next time you come, we should have a girls' day out. Just us."

Siya laughed. "I would love that. It’s a date, Komal Di."

"Where's Abhishek? I want to see him before I leave," Siya said, glancing around.

"Oh, he must be in Medha’s room with her," Komal replied.

"I'll ask him to drop you both," Mr. Sharma offered.

"No, Uncle, it's alright. Mihir and I will manage," Siya said with a smile. "I just want to say goodbye to him."

Mrs. Sharma nodded. "You’ve become quite independent, haven’t you? But do make sure to say goodbye properly."

Siya nodded. "Of course, Aunty. I wouldn’t leave without saying a proper farewell."

Komal chimed in, "You know Abhishek, he's probably still lounging around. Medha arrived just yesterday, so they must be catching up."

"Thanks, Komal Di. I’ll go find him now," Siya said.
