Siya's phone buzzed, and she saw Abhishek's name flash on the screen. Smiling, she answered with a sweet "Hello?"
But instead of the usual warmth, she was met with an unexpectedly tense voice. "Come to my room. Now," Abhishek said, his tone sharp.
She blinked in surprise, her smile fading. "Why? What's wrong?" she asked, concern creeping into her voice.
"Just come," he repeated, his voice still clipped before he abruptly ended the call.
Siya hurried to Abhishek's room, her heart pounding with anxiety. The door was slightly ajar, adding to her tension. She pushed it open and stepped inside, her voice edged with worry.
"Abhishek, kya hua? Sab theek hai na?" she called out, scanning the room for him.
But he was nowhere in sight. Just as she turned to leave, the door clicked shut behind her. Spinning around, she saw Abhishek standing there with a mischievous grin.
“What happened? You sounded tense on the phone,” she asked, her concern still evident.
He walked up to her, casually draping his arms over her shoulders. "Well," he began, a playful glint in his eyes, "that was just a plan to get you here."
She stared at him, realizing she’d been tricked. "Seriously?" she said, rolling her eyes in exasperation.
“Hmm,” he hummed, clearly pleased with himself.
She shoved his hands off her shoulders, shaking her head. "Stupid," she muttered, but the hint of a smile on her lips betrayed her amusement.
He chuckled softly, leaning in a little closer. "Couldn't help it, Chintu. I missed you."
Siya sighed, trying to stay annoyed, but his warm presence made it impossible. "You really scared me, you know," she said, her voice softening.
Abhishek’s expression turned serious for a moment as he looked into her eyes. "Sorry," he said, genuinely. "I just wanted to see you, that’s all."
She let out a small laugh, the tension melting away. "Next time, try not to give me a heart attack, okay?"
He grinned, pulling her into a gentle hug. "Promise," he murmured, holding her close.
Abhishek suddenly stepped closer, his intense gaze locking onto hers. Siya felt a strange shift in the air between them. He was acting different, and she could sense it immediately.
"Aapko kuch hua hai kya?" she asked, a hint of concern in her voice.
"Haa," he replied, his expression serious.
Her worry deepened. "What? What happened?" she asked, her eyes searching his face for answers.
"Loveria," he said, breaking into a sheepish smile.
