25. Party.
"Siya, please. Please. Please!!!" Abhishek pleaded, his puppy eyes in full effect.
She sighed, looking at him with a mix of amusement and hesitation. "Abhishek, I don't know... What if I feel out of place? I don’t want to intrude."
He shook his head, taking her hands in his. "Intrude? Are you kidding? Everyone will love you. Plus, Komal is coming too. You’ll have someone to chat with if you feel awkward."
Siya bit her lip, still uncertain. "But what if I don’t fit in? It’s your friends’ celebration, and I don’t want to be in the way."
Abhishek pulled her closer, his voice softening. "You won't be in the way, Chintu. You’re part of my life, and my friends should know how important you are to me. Besides, I need my lucky charm with me."
She couldn’t help but smile at that. "Lucky charm, huh? You’re laying it on thick."
He grinned, giving her a playful nudge. "Hey, if it works, it works. So, will you come? Please?"
Siya looked into his eyes, seeing the genuine warmth and desire there. She sighed again but nodded. "Alright, I’ll come. But if I feel out of place, I’m blaming you."
Abhishek’s face lit up, and he hugged her tightly. "Deal. You won’t regret it, I promise. Plus, Komal di will be there, and you know how she loves to tease us."
Siya chuckled, already feeling a bit better about the whole thing. "Okay, okay. I’m convinced. Let’s go to this party and see how it goes."
"That’s my girl," he said, giving her a quick kiss on the forehead. "Now, let’s get ready. We’re going to have a great time, I promise."
"But Abhishek, what do I wear? I didn’t bring anything suitable for a party," Siya said, looking a bit concerned.
Abhishek thought for a moment and then grinned. "Don’t worry, I’ll ask Komal di for help. She has a fantastic sense of style and should have something perfect for you."
Siya raised an eyebrow, still unsure. "You really think that’s a good idea? I don’t want to impose on her."
He shook his head reassuringly. "No way, it’s not an imposition at all. Komal di loves fashion and would be thrilled to help. Trust me, she’ll have you looking amazing in no time."
Siya nodded reluctantly. "Alright, if you say so. Just don’t let her pick something too flashy."
Abhishek chuckled, pulling out his phone. "I’ll make sure she picks something stylish but not over-the-top. You’ll look great, I promise."
He quickly sent a message to Komal, who responded almost immediately. "Komal di says she’s got just the thing for you. Let’s head over to her room, and she’ll sort you out."
