20. Flight.
At Siya’s home, she and Mihir were bustling about, getting ready for their trip to Kolkata for the IPL. The excitement was palpable as they grabbed their bags and headed toward the door.
"Go safely, and Mihir beta, don't disturb your Di," Kiran said, giving Mihir a pointed look.
"Maa, I never disturb Di. You know that," Mihir protested, feigning innocence. "Waise bhi, inko Abhishek bhaiya ke saath gulu gulu karne se fursat mile toh disturb karu na."
"That's exactly what your Maa is saying, Mihir. Don’t disturb your Di and Abhishek," Rajesh chimed in, a teasing glint in his eye.
"Seriously, guys???" Siya exclaimed, her cheeks turning a shade of pink. "You’re all impossible!"
Mihir grinned, slinging an arm around his sister's shoulders. "Relax, Di. We’re just having some fun. But honestly, you and Abhishek bhaiya... it’s cute."
Siya playfully swatted at him. "You’re such a brat."
Kiran laughed, handing Siya a small bag of snacks. "Here, take this for the flight. And Mihir, remember what I said."
"Yes, Maa," Mihir replied, rolling his eyes dramatically. "I’ll be on my best behavior. Promise."
Rajesh patted Mihir on the back. "Good boy. And Siya, have a great time. Enjoy the matches, and don’t let your brother drive you crazy."
Siya smiled, feeling the warmth of her family’s love. "Thanks, Papa. We’ll be fine. See you all soon."
As they headed out the door, Mihir couldn’t resist one last jab. "So, Di, how many 'gulu gulu' sessions are you planning with Abhishek bhaiya?"
Siya groaned, shoving him lightly. "Get in the car, you menace."
Kiran and Rajesh watched them go, smiling at their playful banter. "They’ll be just fine," Kiran said, squeezing Rajesh’s hand.
"Yes, they will," Rajesh agreed.
