24. Win.
Siya opened the door to her hotel room, surprised to find Abhishek standing in front of her, a shy smile playing on his lips. He was already dressed in his team tracksuit, ready to leave for the match.
"Abhishek, what are you doing here?" she asked, her curiosity piqued.
"Well, I got you something," he said, holding out a neatly folded item.
She took it from him, unfolding it to reveal a jersey. "What's this?" she asked, looking up at him with wide eyes.
"It's my jersey," he replied, his voice tinged with nervous excitement. "I was wondering if you would wear it when you come to watch the match today?"
Her heart skipped a beat at his request. "You want me to wear your jersey?"
He nodded, his eyes searching hers. "Yeah, I mean, if you want to. It would mean a lot to me. Knowing you're out there supporting me, it... it helps."
Siya smiled warmly, her fingers tracing the letters of his name printed on the back of the jersey. "Of course, Abhishek. I'd be honored to wear it."
His face lit up with relief and gratitude. "Thank you, Siya. You're amazing."
She blushed, feeling a rush of affection for him. "I'll be cheering for you, every step of the way."
He reached out, gently taking her hand in his. "Just knowing you're there makes all the difference."
She squeezed his hand, their connection palpable. "I'll be there, Abhishek. Always."
He looked deeply into her eyes, the weight of his emotions clear. "I should get going," he said reluctantly. "But I wanted to see you before I left."
"I'm glad you did," she replied softly.
He leaned in, brushing a tender kiss on her forehead. "Wish me luck," he whispered.
"Good luck, Abhishek. Go out there and show them what you're made of," she encouraged, her voice steady and supportive.
He smiled, his confidence bolstered by her words. "I'll do my best. For you."
She watched as he turned to leave, her heart swelling with pride and affection. "I'll see you at the match," she called after him.
He glanced back, giving her a wink and a playful grin. "Don't be late. I want to see you in that jersey."
"Come here for a moment," Siya asked, her voice soft but insistent.
Abhishek stepped closer, curiosity and a hint of anticipation in his eyes. She cupped his face with both hands, rising on her tiptoes to reach his height with some difficulty. She leaned in, closing the gap, and their lips met in a tender, lingering kiss.
