I'm not even disappointed anymore
The way you talk about things
Irked me to my core
Sometimes it was like talking to a wall
I just think all of it was pointless
You can show a person exactly who you are
And it still goes like this
It's never enough
When they have their minds set
Then come running to you
like you owe them some kind of dept
No one is perfect, everyone is bound to make mistakes
And you just decided
"Hey, let's add to her heartache"
I don't know what to think anymore
Especially after everything before
You didn't make it hard to walk away
And for that I'm grateful
I will never force anyone to stay
And with that
A chapter of my life is closed
All good things must come to an end I suppose
Learned to accept who I am
Nothing is wrong
Heading out without a plan
I see my beauty now
And sometimes my worth
Enforced to the very end
Those lessons can never be replaced
I never judged you for your mistakes
We're all flawed in our own ways
And that's okay
So I welcome the dawn of a new day
I am halfway to the self acceptance
I crave
And you helped pave the way
As bad as it was
Your support was true
And for that, I thank you
I am ready to turn the page
On this story
And set a new stage
Onto the next chapter
And become better
Ever after
