The next day, Hanni woke up with a heavy heart. The conversation she had had with Minji the day before weighed on her conscience. She had told Minji that she didn't love her, that her feelings hadn't changed, and that divorce seemed to be the best solution. Minji, always understanding, had accepted it without judgment, but Hanni knew those words weren't easy to forget. She had told the truth—or at least what she believed to be the truth. But now, every time she thought about it, the weight of the decision seemed harder to bear.

Still feeling uneasy, Hanni decided to go out and get some fresh air. She didn't know what she was trying to do, but maybe a little time away from the house would help her think more clearly. As she walked aimlessly, her hands nervously gripped her bag. Every step seemed to take her further away from the decision she felt she had to make, yet at the same time, closer to something she couldn't ignore.

Then, as she passed by a store, she saw Minji.

There she was, as usual, elegant and composed, holding a bouquet of roses as she approached the store door. But what struck Hanni immediately was the group of women surrounding her. They were young and visibly captivated by Minji's presence, who responded to them with a friendly smile, without a trace of malice. It was clear that Minji was there, as always, to bring kindness to anyone who crossed her path, without any intent to brag or impress. But seeing Minji in that situation, surrounded by women so affectionate and admiring, triggered a feeling in Hanni that she couldn't ignore.

It was jealousy.

A feeling Hanni hadn't thought she could experience. But as she watched them interact with Minji, a sense of possessiveness and anxiety washed over her. It was as if her heart tightened into a knot. The women around Minji laughed, complimented her, and spoke enthusiastically, but what Hanni saw wasn't just casual acquaintances. It was Minji—*her* Minji—receiving attention that Hanni herself could no longer give. A small sense of helplessness and insecurity crept into Hanni's heart. Was she really ready to let her go?

Minji, who hadn't immediately noticed Hanni, moved closer to the store's door. But when she saw her, her smile grew brighter and warmer. She approached Hanni, the bouquet of roses still in her hands, but before she could say anything, Hanni intervened.

"She's my wife," she said, her tone firm but filled with emotion, addressing the women who, startled, quickly stepped away. Hanni looked Minji in the eyes, trying to conceal the confusion and jealousy she was feeling. "I don't want to see this happen next time."

Hanni's words hit Minji like a small shock, leaving her momentarily silent. Her expression shifted from surprise to curiosity, but also a bit of uncertainty. "Hanni..." she finally said, her voice soft but concerned. "Has something changed since our last conversation?"

Hanni didn't reply right away. That kind of question made her uncomfortable, caught up in the turmoil she was experiencing. She didn't know how to explain the uneasiness she felt or why she was so upset seeing Minji with those other women.

"It doesn't matter," she said quickly, trying to change the subject. "There's something else I want to talk about. Let's go inside; after a long day of meetings, you need to relax."

Minji seemed to hesitate for a moment, as if she wanted to read between the lines of Hanni's words, but she didn't press further. She followed Hanni into the store, remaining silent as they entered.

From a distance, Danielle observed the scene with a knowing smile. She immediately understood that Hanni was hiding her true feelings. She knew that the jealousy Hanni was experiencing wasn't just fear of losing Minji, but also the result of a growing realization. Hanni was beginning to understand that her love for Minji was something she could no longer deny, even though, for now, she was still caught in the chaos of her emotions.
