Hanni was outside the ceremony.
There was a huge open garden and wonderful plants colored every space.
It seemed like a party of colors, where she was the only guest.
People were all inside together with their conversations and their teasing.
The air became thinner and thinner when you found yourself with people with bad manners.
Hanni breathed in the fresh air of the plants that gave her a little calm for the first time. Being here had cleared her mind, and fortunately the alcohol too.
Hanni had always had problems with alcohol, she had never been one of those people who could drink a lot in fact when she was a teenager she would explode with the first glass.
Maybe it was because she wasn't used to this kind of thing since rich people drink privileged things from an early age, but she couldn't handle wine and champagne.
She still remembered when her friends took strange pictures of her or teased her by drawing something obscene on her face.
Those were good memories that even though at the time they might have been ugly and embarrassing, now remembering them brought a smile to the lips.
Hanni smiled at the thought, but that smile disappeared when she realized that that childhood had been gone for a long time.
"Miss, are you lost?" A voice asked from far away.
A man with broad shoulders and a kind face approached her.
He looked like a lamb but a smart person to talk to.
He had thick black hair that was spinning around his head looking for a place to stay, the wind was playing bad tricks tonight.
A magnanimous smile acted as a beacon to illuminate his voice.
"How?" Hanni asked impressed by the man's appearance.
"Are you lost?" the man asked again with a small laugh .
The woman stood there looking at him hoping that it was a hallucination.
"No" she answered without even meaning to.
The man nodded at her answer.
He swayed his body and turned his head away like a child who didn't know what to do.
"Is she alone?" the man asked again.
He adjusted his jacket properly and then kept his hands in his pants pockets.
It looked awkward but it was funny to Hanni.
"In this garden, not anymore," Hanni replied looking at the man.
It might have crossed some people's minds that Hanni was hitting on them, but that wasn't the case.
Hanni had a friendly nature regardless with everyone.
"I'm Soobin," the man replied, extending his hand for a friendly shake.
Hanni returned the offer with a smile and said, "I'm Hanni."
"Kim? Kim Hanni?" the man asked in surprise. Soobin must have been one of those rich kids who, even though the world had made him good at something, still had to follow the rules of society.
He looked like an artist but not a rich guy.
He could have been some rich kid or just a friend of Nam-joon's.
"Maybe Pham, but you can call me Hanni" Hanni replied.
It took her a moment to realize what the man was talking about.
