The next day...
"What? And why do I have to be that person?" Minji asked confused. Kim Minji was at her cousin Minjeong's house.
Strangely enough, her girlfriend Jimin hadn't shown up like the other times, Minji enjoyed Jimin's company, she was always radiant and full of surprises.
She wasn't like her cousin who looked like a block of ice.
"Can't you see how I look? Don't you understand the situation then?" the woman said with frustration.
She was wearing an apron that fit her perfectly while her hair was messy and piled up in a short ponytail. Strands of hair were slightly stuck to her temple because of the sweat.
She was holding a bowl and a spoon in her hands, it looked like she was about to play some drum with those tools.
Minji sighed and shook her head in denial.
Minjeong stomped her foot and said, turning around as if to prove the truth, "Do you see Jimin anywhere? Well, surprise! She's sick."
A fury burst from Minjeong's voice, she seemed to have been holding back her anger all this time.
"That stupid woman thought it was a great idea to get her hair wet in the middle of winter and not dry it!" Minjeong yelled incessantly, almost as if she wanted to make her complaint heard even by the woman who was now lying in bed with the freezing fear of finding Minjeong at any moment.
Minji scratched the back of her head, a little bored by the situation.
"Jimin was supposed to help build the treehouse for Yizhuo's daughter but she can't..."
"So I should put myself in Jimin's shoes and build a playhouse?" Minji interrupted, frustrated.
She always had time for her cousin, but this was out of her league.
"You know better than me how pushy that little girl is... she takes after her mother," Minjeong whispered, lifting her bowl up and down, almost as if ordering them to go there immediately.
"But Minjeong, I have other things to do..." the woman said capriciously, begging with her hands to save her from such trouble.
Minjeong frowned and hit Minji's head with her spoon.
"Damn, Jimin has saved your ass so many times! Can't you do her a favor once in a while!" Minjeong said, gritting her teeth angrily.
Minji was sometimes afraid of that woman, she was very similar to the classic women of the Kim family: always aggressive and ready to punish anyone with a stick.
Oh, poor Jimin who had taken it.
She didn't understand how that woman survived with a person like that who ordered everything without even listening to others.
But in the end Minjeong wasn't entirely wrong, Jimin had always been very kind to her and had replaced her a couple of times when she had to accompany her aunt or her mother somewhere; she remembered how she had to help Hyein when her car broke down in the middle of the road or how she saved her day when she called her to go buy the cake she forgot for Minjeong.
She had promised that time that she would get it, but in the end she had forgotten that time too.
Jimin was usually the one who organized the parties, but that time Minji wanted to appear useful but I was wrong even that time.
Jimin was a good person and even though she didn't want to build a treehouse, she had to accept the request or rather the command.
