Weeks later Minji received an invitation from a famous businessman for a donation ceremony regarding the genocide.

Minji honestly didn't want to go, even though the cause was rightly useful and important but these days things weren't going as expected with Hanni and so she couldn't show herself in public with a woman who ignored her.

In truth it didn't seem like she was ignoring her but rather distancing herself a bit. Minji understood that it could be an emotional phase since she had spent her days alone these last few days.

Minji still delivered the invitation to Hanni asking if she would come with her.

"Really? Do you go to these types of ceremonies?" Hanni asked confused.

Hanni expected Minji to be too famous to go to these types of events and that the paparazzi could write something untrue about her.

"A person like me is almost always forced. This man is also an important person and even older than me..." Minji said sincerely.

The man in question was Kim Nam-joon, a famous businessman of formal suits and above all recognized as a music discoverer although he was part of the fashion section. He had helped many artists with his money, and they had become successful people. Most of those artists would have shown up at the ceremony just to pay homage to him.

"Even though I was thinking of refusing" said Minji scratching her neck slightly a little confused by her ideas.

Maybe it was better for her not to go either, there would be many journalists because of the other celebrities.

However, she could not refuse the invitation of a man like that especially because he was an acquaintance.

He was the best friend of her father's uncle.

Kim Taehyung was her uncle and remains standing in the fashion industry for having worked for several years as a model.

Now he lived his life in a simple way without difficulties, in fact he now worked as a stylist for a large fashion company.

He did not want to be the boss but he did not want to be bossed around either.

So refusing the invitation would have been an insult to her uncle.

"But I'll go anyway" Minji continued.

Hanni, surprised by Minji's change of mind, got up from the table where they were eating and went over to her.

"Minji, are you okay? You seem distracted" Hanni whispered, placing her hand on the woman's shoulder.

She was plagued by a thousand thoughts. She didn't know what to do honestly with her life. She just wanted to spend one of her many days at the office right now.

Was it normal for her to be afraid of going home?

Was it normal for her to be afraid of going to a donation ceremony?

Was it normal for her to be paranoid about why Hanni didn't love her?

Minji looked up at Hanni who, worried, was trying to console her with words.

Minji grabbed her hand and without her even noticing her move, Hanni found herself on Minji's lap.

The strong scent dripping from her neck made Hanni's senses melt.

The woman wondered what Minji wanted at this moment, with that look of a lost teddy bear. "I'm scared" Minji commented burning her feelings in front of the woman she loved.

Her hands wrapped around her hips.
Touching the back of the woman she claimed was her first and last love.

Hanni felt that warmth of that hug so intensely that she would have burst into tears to have another.
