I fought through the pain, using what little strength I had left to push myself forward. The ruins seemed endless, a maze of ancient stone and shadows. The air was thick with the scent of danger, but all I could think of was reaching her.
Somewhere in the depths of the ruins, I could hear the sound of her voice. She was calling for help, but I knew it was only a matter of time before they closed in on her.
I had no weapons, no armor, just the raw determination to save her. I had to reach her before it was too late.
