As Elesis held me, her grip never loosening, I realized that everything had changed. The way she looked at me, with those eyes—deep, dark, and almost hollow—was like something out of a nightmare. The sweet, innocent girl I once knew was gone, replaced by someone who was utterly consumed by an intense, overwhelming desire. She had crossed a line I didn’t know existed, and now, I wasn’t sure if I could get her back.

Her arms tightened around me, pulling me closer as if afraid I might slip away. “You’re all that matters, Zach,” she whispered, her breath hot against my ear. “I won’t let anyone take you from me. I won’t let you go, not ever.”

The air around us pulsed with her dark energy, and I could feel the tension in the atmosphere, like it was on the edge of snapping. Her red hair, usually a symbol of her fiery nature, now seemed to match the raging storm brewing within her.

I struggled to keep my composure, to hold on to the Zach I used to be. But as I looked into her eyes—those eyes that were now so dark, so cold—I couldn’t help but shudder. I had seen her fight fiercely before, but this... this was different. This wasn’t just rage or protection—it was obsession.

My heart raced as I realized the depth of her feelings for me. She had always been the person I leaned on, the one who kept me going, but now it seemed like I was nothing more than her possession. It frightened me more than anything.

“Elesis,” I began, my voice trembling despite my best efforts to sound strong. “I’m here, I’m not going anywhere. But this isn’t you. This... this isn’t who you were.”

Her eyes flickered for a moment, as if my words had pierced the dark veil that surrounded her. But then they hardened again, and her lips curled into a smile that made my skin crawl.

“I am exactly who I am, Zach,” she replied, her voice soft but chilling. “I’ve always been this way. I’ve always wanted you. I just... couldn’t show you. Not until now.”

I tried to pull away, but her arms were like iron, holding me tight. “Elesis, please—let me go. I need space. You’re scaring me.” My words felt weak, and the pain from my wounds made it hard to focus, but I couldn’t stop myself. This was not the path I wanted to walk.

“You’ll never escape me, Zach,” she murmured, as her grip tightened even more, her fingers digging into my flesh. “No one will ever come between us. Not again. No one will touch you. Not ever.”

Her words were laced with something that made my stomach turn—a possessiveness that bordered on madness. The way she spoke, with such absolute certainty, made me question everything I thought I knew about her. This wasn’t the Elesis I had grown up with, the girl who would smile and laugh and hold my hand. This was someone who had been consumed by something darker, something more dangerous.
