Chapter 24 | Working with Anne
"Hey Teriyaki Chicken," I paused, and looked at Teresa, "Can I call you that?" I poked my tongue out.

"Hahah you weirdo," she laughed back, "Of course you can, its better than Teresy" Teresa replied.

"Oii," I picked up a leaf and played around with it. "Dude, its so boring around here."

"Yeah you said it,"

"Could we play a game?" I asked, like a little kid.

She laughed again.

"Sure.. What game?"

"Idk.. Everyone's always doing their jobs and stuff. Why can't we have a break" I groaned.

"How bout we do team games?"

My eyes I glistened.

"YEZ PLEASE"

"Gosh you're like a child," Teresa giggled at me.

"Hey watcha doing?" Newt entered the room with Gabriel.

"We're making an event." Teresa replied. "Wanna help?"

Newt's P.O.V
I looked at Anne, and immediately replied.

"Yes," I said at the same time as Gabriel.

Lol, what's his reason to be here?

"I'll go work with Anne|Angie," Gabriel and I said at the same time, again.

"Rock, paper, scissors it," Teresa shrugged it off.

We look at each other and nodded, like a silent agreement.

"Paper, scissors, rock,"

I pulled out 'scissors'

Gabriel pulled out 'rock'

Bloody hell..

"Off I go then," Gabriel spoke, starting to walk off.

"Wait!" I stopped him. "Best out of 3?" I asked in hope.

"Nup, I won square and fair. Soz mate." And with that he walked off.

I reluctantly walked over to Teresa.

"Aww c'mon now, don't look so glum cause you're not working with your girlfriend," Teresa teased.

"Wait, what?" I blushed full on, "No, its nothing like tha-"

"Chill Newt," Teresa laughed. "I was just kidding!"

I sighed.

At from that point on my eyes were fixated on Anne and Gabriel. They were working really well together and kept laughing at each other's jokes.

Why is he so bloody persistent anyways?

I froze.

It can't be..

Anne must have complimented him as his face went red.
