In the clouds above the city of Vale, on an airship set course towards Beacon Academy. Even more days had passed, and Texas had been discharged from the hospital after receiving a new arm. It was great. The arm was made out of some unique metal remnant possessed on found on earth that's supposed to be stronger and lighter at the same time. Ozpin even did Texas some courtesy in getting the arm custom fitted to look like his old one or looked like his one under a quick glance without much focused attention.

There were several features his new arm could pull off to that a normal human arm couldn't. At the hand section were some exposed machinery, his fingers all the way down to where they met the palm were all black opposed to his beige skin colour typical of people of white European descent. Ozpin had told him his new arm had several special features to it that a normal hand couldn't do. For one, on the top ridges of his fingers was something like hydraulic pumps. There's a whole system of them bellow the skin, allowing him to have a significantly increased grip strength.

He could grab someone's skull and crush it, pry doors open, hold onto edges more easily. There were just so many applications that his new arm could have uses both in and out of combat. Something was off about the arm, though. It felt inhuman. Despite retaining all motor functions as his previous one did, it was as if his body had this icky feeling about it. The kind you feel when something foreign goes into it like a tongue depressor, doctor's hand, or IV drip needle.

He just couldn't help but look down at his new arm, thinking to himself about what it meant to him and his old arm. The one that had been though with him for the longest time since he was born. How could he just accept it was gone?

Alas, though most of his equipment was taken away, presumably in the hands of his comrades, and his top clothes were all ripped in the ambulance. So much for that tailor fixing his softshell... Now, all he had was a dark blue short sleeve dress shirt on his person, which Ozpin got for him as well. Seeing Texas leaning against the railing that separated him from the airship's glass panel itself all alone, just staring at his arm, Ozpin approached him. Maybe he just needed some words, something was on his chest?

"So. How do you feel?" Ozpin asked him, seeing his blank stare at his arm.

"I- I'm fine, Oz." Texas turned his head slightly to look at him, then back to his arm.

"Listen...I've lost much of myself before, General Ironwood too, many huntsmen before you too." Ozpin said, trying to give some words of encouragement soothing Texas' internal thoughts.

"It's not like this in my world. When we lose a limb, it's hard to get prosthetics. This just feels weird on me." Texas explained further, cupping his face in the palm of his new arm. In response, Ozpin pat Texas' back with his arm, going the length of his shoulders to reach the one furthest from him as a sign of reassurance.

"It's alright, you'll get used to it." It was then the airship began to close into Beacon Academy, he sight of the whole campus coming into view through the clouds. In minutes, the airship docked on the ground, and Texas took his first step back onto the campus grounds since the day he left for team RWBY's first mission. Greeting him was his mercernary comrades, Floridaman, Moron, and Akula all waiting for him near a rubbish bin under a lamppost smoking.

"Hey Texas!" Floridaman shouted, waving his free hand that wasn't preoccupied holding a cigarette upon seeing Texas and Ozpin walk down the ramp.

The group made their way quickly to the base of the ramp to meet the 2, putting out all the cigarettes they had been smoking earlier into that trash bin they were next to. When both parties were within arm's reach of each other Moron held his hand up in a fist for a

Everyone's eyes were instantly drawn to Texas' new arm after that. Surveying the advanced technology and futuristic Cyberpunk look to it.

"Holy shit now that's cool. What can you do with it?" Akula stated, pointing his finger at the arm.
