"Just who are these guys...?"
Moron asked while taking cover, his rifle close to his chest, ready to open fire if need be.

"I think I know..." Akula with one hand above his eyebrows and the other on the pistol grip of his AKS-74 having the hand grip resting on the concrete ledge. Being a Scav himself, he had a pretty good idea of what was usually going on with scav politics. The various groups and what they were about both big and small. The territories and deals made between them all. Of course, he didn't know exact details with gaps in his knowledge being very common, but he was knowledgeable enough.

"These guys are a good scav gang from suburbs. They work with one of the scav traders. Everyone calls him the Chechen since he really is one. Trades in illicit items mostly." Akula explained as everyone listened in intently.

"Shit, these are drugged up scavs?" Texas asked, looking at the men and trying to peer if they had any sort of signs they were heavy users of drugs. Akula nods, confirming his suspicions.

"So what do we do? Open fire? Negotiate?" Moron proded for an answer, looking at his friends and then to the Goons left and right with the twist of his head. Texas was unsure about both options, but the solution was already in his pocket. He still had

"We still have those grenades form remnant, right? Those weird dust grenades?" He pulls an electricity dust grenade indicated by the bright neon yellow stripes on its cylindrical form from one of his side pouches on his vest. He waved it in his left hand, catching everyone's attention to it, but not high up and more so at his waist level.

"Yeah, I think I have some." Moron backed up, beginning to dig around in his pockets to procure an ice dust grenade indicated by the ice blue markings on the weapon.

"Hang on, what the bloody fucking hell is that...?" Birdeye looked at Texas and his crew pulling out strange grenades he'd never seen before. There were many improvised grenades present in tarkov, whatever the scav engineers and traders could cobble together to create something capable of giving someone a mean burst of shrapnel, but this looked right out of robo cop.

"Should be enough to surprise them... when we toss the grenades, everyone rain fire down onto them." Texas explained further, and everybody else nodded with varying degrees of trust to scepticism.

Slowly, Moron pulled the pin out, releasing the latch with his hand, stopping it from flying off. Texas did so similarly, and both would stand ready to lob their grenades at this scav gang. The leader was still incessantly yapping away, hurling insults and even some philosophical statements at them while the rest of the gang still stood out in the open clearly emboldened due to their perceived strength in numbers. With a quick nod Moron was the first to throw his grenade tossing it down to the group, his advantage in height making it easier to make it land in the middle of the gang for maximum damage.

All the scavs down bellow didn't have much time to reach, only letting a quarter of a scream before ice dust surrounded a good chunk of them but no more than half. They would now die painful deaths, the men consumed by massive ice crystals with various limbs sticking out of them, some even had spikes piercings through their body. Blood trickled down, as did ice melting into water down onto the floor below. The scav gang looked in shock at what had just happened. Ice of this scale was something that couldn't just spawn like that. Their comrades are now stuck in an icy tomb doomed to die from hypothermia or the ice piercing their bodies for those who had that happen to them.

"How you like that Judge Holden wannabe?!" Texas bellowed at the leader at the top of his lungs as a taunt. Some tried to help their comrades in the ice, but it was so cold touching the ice was akin to the feeling of a burn immediately recoiling their arms. Texas then threw down his grenade, but this time, the scavs were wiser, having seen more conflict and immediately booked it forwards nearer to fortress. The lighting dust grenade only caught those trapped in the ice and some stragglers, including that 1 injured scav from before shocking them with lethal amounts of energy and heat.
