As of July 24th 2025, I am freezing the Tarkov lore of this fanfic. No new lore and events beyond this date will be considered to have happened in this version of Tarkov presented within the story other than equipment and weapons.
Why?
Because Nikita decided to ruin this wipe for me and thousands of other players yet he considers the game nearly ready for 1.0.
This "hardcore" wipe is genuine ass. I HATE the update to secure containers and making everything more expensive. What world has an MP5 with a 20-round magazine cost me 200k roubles while everytime I die I get to pay therapist 300k for heals because i got head eyes by a cheater.
Speaking of cheaters they're still everywhere and in arena too now.
Yeah fuck this shit im escaping tarkov and not playing this wipe or when 1.0 comes out probably.
I'm gonna finish this fic still though since everything is planned out from start to finish.
