"Wakey wakey old friend. Rise and shine." A familiar accented voice chimed into Texas' ear as he felt a bright light shine into his eye, 2 fingers prying one of his eyelids open. From this disturbance, Texas immediately awoke, swatting the hand and prying his eyelids open as he quickly crawled in reverse away until his back hit a concrete wall. His vision was still blurry, but wherever he was, it was dark with only a fire and the moon giving light to his surroundings.

"Can't recognise you're old friend mate? Bloody hell what the fuck happened to you?" The man with the familiar voice came towards him squatting down to get at his level.

"Texas, do you remember me? Do you remember the light house?" his vision began to become less and less fuzzy with every blink until he could get a clear view of the man who was in front of him. He could recognise that baja jacket from the back of his memories, memories that haven't come to the front of his mind for a long time not even since he got to remnant but long before.

"Birdeye...? What the..." Texas rubbed his forehead into the palm of his hand, clearing any debris from his eye rubbing his head until he could for sure make out everything in front of him. To make sure if the scene was real and not some sort of deception.

It was hard to believe where he was at now. It was the place all the mercernaries called fortress in customs, specifically the 2nd level. Before him was all 3 of the goons or goon squad, Death Knight and Big Pipe sitting on a green weapons crate, and black weapon box respectively while Birdeye was at his level squat down as previously mentioned. Both Knight and Big Pipe had their rifles on their knees, respectively. A black 7.62 calibre modded out MDR for the former and a tan scoped M60E6 machine gun for the latter. They all were looking at him while to the corner of the level his comrades sat, their weapons on the other side of the floor near that makeshift wooden walkway to access the other side of the level.

Big Pipe had his namesake in his mouth. He was puffing smoke, taking in his daily dose of nicotine while taking a much needed break from slaughtering PMCs.

Texas also noticed all his weapons were missing too on his person. He'd been stripped of all his equipment, and it felt as if he was naked out in public. Floridaman was awake sitting against the wall, looking in despair with Akula similarly awake looking back at Texas. Moron however was still on the ground knocked out. In a cruel twist of fate, 3 girls from remnant had been also brought here. Ruby and Neo were both knocked out still limp on the floor, but Weiss was terrified near curled up into a ball looking left and right at the surroundings with her eyeballs in their sockets

"Is this a dream...?" He asked, trying to pinch himself desperately, wanting it all to be just a dream. There's no way he was back in this hell. There's no way he didn't escape from Tarkov that day with the device. He can't go back. Death Knight scoffed the question, shaking his head.

"Nope. All real old friend." Knight responded.

"No...it...it can't be...NO! NO!" Texas experiencing a mixture of denail, grief, and anger immediately slammed his prosthetic balled fist on the ground in a fit of rage, shattering the concrete floor, leaving a mini crater at the impact zone. The Goons were all taken aback by this action, with Birdeye stumbling backwards onto his ass out of shock from such an inhuman strength.

"Holy shit!" Birdeye called out, looking to the others so that he could confirm they had just seen what he had done.

"Calm down Tex whatever happened is over now...Birdeye give him a smoke." Big Pipe tried to diffuse the situation, figuring a good smoke break would calm his nerves. Looking around in his LBT Load Bearing Rig, Birdeye produced a battered cigarette box of the Malboro variety. He flipped the top open and pulled a single cigarette from the box, bringing his hand holding the cigarette close to Texas' reach.
