"Well... we are here because I have selected a new guardian for the Fall Maiden's powers. Someone who's strong both morally and physically, intelligent, caring, willing to go above all, but most importantly, she's ready." Ozpin leaned in forward from his desk, hands clasped together.
"And who might that be-" Qrow questioned first but was quickly interrupted by the ding coming from behind everyone, indicating someone had reached the level Ozpin's office was on.
The doors part open and out reveals Pyrrha Nikos. The 4 Tarkov originals part ways to the sides of the room so as to give Ozpin a view of who just entered as he looked intently at her. In fact, all 8 pairs of eyes were on her as she walked out of the elevator and into the room, unsure of what this all was about. In a real deja vu situation, she walked in just as unsure as the 4 men were when they did so earlier.
"Please, Miss Nikos, would you have a seat?" Ozpin gestured his arm for her to sit at the open chair just across from his desk. Looking around at her surroundings, she gives each person in the room other than Ozpin a glance, seeing many familiar faces.
To start, Ozpin began to congratulate Pyrrha on her impressive victories during the ongoing tournament, having made it to the singles, which were the very last matches for the tournament that would ultimately decide the winner for the whole tournament. Much as a testament to her personality and heart of gold, she credited her teammates for helping boost her up to where she was now, although Qrow had a more cynical opinion on that it was the other way around in actuality by proxy claiming JNPR were all leeches leeching off Pyrrha.
"Excuse me, i believe we haven't met?" Pyrrha's eyes narrowed as she looked at Qrow, staring daggers into his eyes for even suggesting such a thing.
"Name's Qrow." He answered literally before taking a swig of whatever alcohol in his pocket-sized flask.
"Qrow is a trusted colleague of mine. He is indeed quite the unique fellow." Ozpin tried to cover for Qrow, seeing his more expressive personality may derail everything.
Pyrrha looks at Qrow for another moment before addressing her teacher again.
"Professor, if you don't mind me asking, why have you called me here?"
Ozpin casually rebutted with a completely separate question, putting his fingers up to his lips and leaning back on his chair comfortably, asking what was her favourite fairytale from her childhood. Thinking this would lead to the answer of why she was called here, eventually, she answered listing off several fairytales like the The Tale of The Two Brothers, The Shallow Sea, The Girl in the Tower but none was the one Ozpin wanted. So, instead, he spat what he wished for out.
"What about the story of the seasons?"
It was like clockwork to Pyrrha. She began recounting the whole story, the story of the seasons. About the 4 maidens or sisters in the legend who possessed the near infinite and very much powerful power of the 4 seasons using them to try to bring an old hermit out of his home. The whole ordeal was quite tiring, draining the energy of the 4 mercenaries, but they stood there and let Ozpin do his thing.
Once the story was recounted, Ozpin went ahead and dropped the ball on Pyrrha telling her she was next in line to inherit the Fall Maiden's powers and that all she had just recounted was actually true as legends have to spur from somewhere for there to be a legend in the first place. Finally, Ozpin explained that they were all here not just as huntsmen, headmasters, or teachers but as protectors of the world. Right on time, the elevator doors open as Ozpin gestures for everyone to enter, and all 9 people currently in the office squeeze in.
Ozpin quickly presses the elevator command panel in some sort of hidden code, pushing down on a series unknown to common folk before every single level button turns green and the lift begins to move. In fact, it moved at extremely high speeds downwards further down than the ground level.
