Junior Year is finally here! It is the first day of school and it is not going as planned.
"Zack! Hurry the freaking hell up! I need a shower!" I bang on the door for the thousandth time.
Shit, I was going to be late on the first freaking day. Just then the door opens and I am greeted by a defined, spectacular set of abs. Jeez, when did Zack grow up. I look helplessly at his shiny chest as water drips down his body. My eyes continue looking down until they reach his towel that he hanging loosely and low on his hips.
"You done checking me out?" I look up to see Zack grinning at me and my face turns bright red.
I roll my eyes before pushing my way through into the bathroom.
By some miracle we manage to get to school on time and I managed to look good. Laura decided that it was time for a makeover and dragged me to nearly every store in the mall forcing me to buy a whole new wardrobe. Luckily mum was thrilled and was happy to pay for everything. Laura says that now that we are upperclassmen we have to make more effort. Especially now that I am single. So gone are my baggy jeans and loose T-shirts, which were replaced with shorts, skinny jeans, blouses, skirts, pumps and even the worst of all. Dresses. But there is no arguing with Laura when she is on a mission, which she was. She also bought me loads of makeup and taught me how to use it all as well as how to style my hair. The whole process was exhausting but even I had to admit, I looked good. It was also confirmed this morning when Zack accidently walked into a wall when he was too busy checking me out to look where he was going. Karma is a bitch.
So for the first time ever I am not going to school in my usual clothes. Instead I am wearing a short dark blue jean skirt which is short enough to make my legs look miles long but not so short that I look like a hooker. With the skirt I put on a loose sleeveless red cami and my red converse. Sorry Laura but there was no way that I was planning on wearing those heels that she wanted me to wear. I mean it is just school. I put on a very small amount of makeup, including mascara and lip gloss which felt foreign on my face but I guess I would have to just get used to it. My hair was trimmed and highlights were added when we were in the mall so I just quickly straightened my wavy hair and left it loose hanging down my back.
"Oh my god you look amazing!" Laura exclaims when I see her in the halls later. Then she looks down and frowns. "I didn't pick out those. Where are the shoes I picked out for you?"
I shrug before one of the senior guys walks by whistling at me. "Looking good Scott!" I blush.
This year is going to be interesting.
"So now phase one is complete." Laura smiles evilly.
"Phase one?" What the heck was phase two then? What was she up to?
"Of course, silly. Makeover was phase one. Phase two is to find us some man candy." She squeals.
"Oh god." I groan. I did not sign up for this.
"Come on, A. Stop being such a party pooper. Speaking of which, there is a party on Friday and we are going."
I love how she asks me my opinion of this plan of hers. "Whose party is it?"
                              "Rachel Evers."
Shit. Why did it have to be Rachel? After Ethan broke up with her she was ten times more annoying. She was whiny and crying all the time. For some reason she decided that it was my fault that they broke up.
                              "I'm not going."
                              "Yes you are."
                              "Am not."
                              "Are to."
