"This place is amazing." Laura looks around my new home in awe.

"I love it too." I say, inviting her along with everyone else in.

It has been a month since the wedding and in that time I have been busy moving into my new home and getting it all ready. Erin has been here to help me take care of Evie as I move in.

Tonight I was having a mini housewarming party which includes Sam, Laura, Noah, Nicole, Zack, Erin, and my family who flew over to visit for the weekend.

"I am so proud of you honey." Mum hugs me.

"I didn't do much. I still need to find a job." I tell her as I pour her a glass of wine in my beautiful new kitchen.

"Do you have any idea what you want to do?" Dad asks me, joining the conversation.

"I think I have an idea. The only problem is that it is a risk. It will cost a lot of money and take a long time before I make any money from it. If I do." I tell them.

"Well if you want any help or advice, we are here. It is up to you though, what you do with the inheritance money." Mum hugs me before going to check and see if Aiden and Violet are okay who were last seen playing in one of the guest rooms.

"So are you going to give me a tour or what?" Nicole who is the only one, yet to see the house asks me.

"Sure. Well this is the bottom floor, obviously. This area is a dining and living area with the kitchen right next to it. Then through those doors is the deck." I point to the large glass doors. Then I lead her toward the foyer where we pass the downstairs bathroom. We walk into the room opposite it. "This is another living area which will probably be the TV room or something. I haven't really decided yet." I tell her gesturing to the empty room that only has boxes in it. I then go back out and to another room next door to it. "This is the downstairs bedroom which for now is a guestroom." This room is already set up with furniture I kept from my grandma's house. Erin has been staying in here for the past two weeks but is leaving after this weekend so it is one of the only finished rooms. We then go upstairs. Half of this floor is the garage where my new car is along with some more boxes. The other half is the master bedroom and bathroom, along with a walk in closet. Next door to my room is Evie's room which is pale green and lilac coloured. Then on the third floor there is storage space above the garage. There is also another guestroom and a family living room which is still empty for now. I might turn it into a playroom when Evie is a little older but I will leave it for now. I am going to spend my time decorating and filling the house, making sure it is perfect. I don't want to rush it.

Finishing the tour, I go and check on Evie who is still fast asleep in her cot and then head back downstairs. But on the way down I notice Zack is standing on the balcony looking out at the lit up city. It was a beautiful view but especially at night.

"Hi." We haven't really spoken much since I moved here. Especially since he found out about Evie. It turned out Laura couldn't keep her big mouth shut and told Nicole who told Noah who told Zack who was the last to find out.

"Hey. Nice view." He says looking back out at the city.

I slowly walk over to stand next to him looking out at the view too. "I missed you when you were gone." I admit.

"I missed you too. So... What is it like being a mum?" he smiles.

"Amazing. Challenging but still amazing. I love her more than I ever thought I could love a person. But she just reminds me so much of Ethan." I tell him.

"Yeah but now you will always have a piece of him. Do you know what you are going to do next?" he asks.

"Sort of. It was actually Ethan who gave me the idea but I don't know if I should go through with it." I say doubtful.
