"We are going to Prom, Bitches!" Laura screams from the limo as we drive to prom. Someone is excited.
She sits back down as we continue to ride to prom. She looks really great tonight. Her dress was pale blue with thin straps that made a criss-cross on her back. It had a V-neck neckline and was thin and long. She also had her hair straightened and had a braid along the side of her head. It matched Sam's outfit perfectly. He decided to go for an old style pale blue tux. He said he wanted to be different. Well he definitely looked the part.
Mine was white and floor-length with a sweetheart neckline. It is tight at the top all the way down to my hips and then is looser on the bottom. The top has lace flowers sown on to it which spread out further down the dress. I have to admit. It was gorgeous. Even for a dress.
Ethan looked good in his black tux too. I was glad that we ended up deciding to go together. The four of us together was great. It would have been weird if Ethan and I went with random people.
"I would like to make a toast." Sam says passing us each a glass of champagne. "To friendship!"
"Wow that wasn't cheesy." I joke. They all give me an annoyed look. "I mean to friendship!" I raise my glass and down it all in one go.
We arrive at prom and which is in a fancy hotel. Sam and Laura were spending the night here but Ethan and I had booked a cab to drive us home after. Sam and Laura go to check in and drop of their bags and Ethan and I go straight into the ballroom where prom is being held. It was pretty awesome. Everyone was dressed up. Some sluttier than others. **Cough**Tiffany**
There is a spotlight when we walk in which is kind of awkward, announcing the arrival of Prom Prince and Princess. Ignoring the light, I continue making my way down and say hi to some girls who were on my soccer team whilst Ethan greets some of his friends.
"There you are!" Laura appears behind me. "Let's dance ballerina." She says pulling me out to the dancefloor.
We dance together for a while and eventually the boys join us and we dance together until a slow song comes on and Sam dances with Laura. Aw they are so cute.
                              "Wanna dance?" Ethan asks me.
"Sure. Why not?" I say grabbing his hand.
"Remember the last time we danced together?" Ethan asks me.
Yeah. Homecoming last year. When he told me he loved me.
"Yeah, that didn't end too well." I remind him.
"We have been through a lot since then." He says seriously.
"We have. But I don't regret it. If anything it has made our friendship stronger. Now we can go through anything." I tell him.
                              "That we can." He grins.
The song comes to an end and Danza Kuduro starts to play. Oh god. I knew what was coming next.
"Ally! Dance with me. Please?" Sam begs me and Laura laughs.
"Go on, A. He will whine if you don't." Laura orders me.
                              "Fine." I sigh.
I grab his hand and we start dancing properly like we use to when we were messing around after dance practice. He twirls me around quickly and I roll my hips like any latin girl can. It is hilarious and super fun at the same time. I notice that we have attracted a lot of attention now as everyone clears a large space on the dance floor for us. Sam has some ridiculous moves which has everyone cracking up with laughter.
When the song ends, I am exhausted and everyone is cheering. Blushing I excuse myself to go and get a drink.
"Nice moves." Ethan compliments me as he grabs himself a glass of punch.
